The only Mullah I know is Mullah Nasrudhin 😆 I don't remember any romantic stories about him.

I do remember reading a romantic novel,(can't recall teh author/title) in which the hero was a Christian priest (the sort who can marry) and he courted the FL with verses from Bible( no, don't remember them either), but it was pretty interesting tho'.

Is there scope for tKabir to do something similar here?

Forumwasis with knowledge of Islam please pitch in.

As mentioned in another post mullahs/ maulvi or normal men are advised to be loving, kind gentle with their wives and take care of their emotional physical sexual needs. Our prophet (pbuh) used to joke and be playful as well as all the above towards his wife and advised his sunnah to behave lovingly and gently with wives. I'm sure being romantic is included in that as husband wife relationship a sacred and highly regarded relationship in Islam. Don't know where Kabir learnt his Islam 🤢 😕

In yesterday's scene when Kabir was talking about the rights and stuff, I was so hoping that Zara would speak up about what you mentioned in your post and clear the incorrect portrayal of the message. I can foresee how misinformed people may take this the wrong way.
Our Prophet's (peace be upon him) affection towards his wife was of nothing like what is being portrayed in the show. He (pbuh) said,
""The most complete of the believers in faith, is the one with the best character. And the best of you are those who are best to their women.

Granted there are men in the real world who live by the mindset of the likes of the character Kabir and claim to be all pious & righteous, but I just hope the show clears this out in the future episodes.

I meant draw inspiration from his scriptures to woo Zara, like quoting stuff from there and do something they did those times etc.

How cute was Kabir when he said,it was his "farz" after rescuing Zara from Siraj..

Loving your wife is completly allowed in islam...Allah said to to loving caring giving what she want its very important in islam. And off caurse romance is part of it. There is no sin romancing your own wife..and in islam its important that husband and wife has good understanding love each other respect each other...as kabir thinks giving her the physical needs means farz of the husband but its not real... both are emotinaly and also physically being love is needed betweet a husband and wife.

Loving ur wife and being romantic with her, wooing her, seeing her tantrums is All ALLOWED in islam, infact encouraged .. its the misrepresentation of people liek Kabeer that there is a difference between duty and love .. infact loving ur wife is a duty !! .. Kabeer has a lot to learn .. a alot !!

There are countless gestures:
Sipping water from glass by placing lips exactly at the place ur wife kept her lips
sleeping in her lap
listening to her complains patiently
feeding food to them
Assisting in household work
having light hearted convos
and so on 😳
Prophet is perfect example of Ideal husband. Lets hope Zaara will make Kabir see this point too
