05/14 Highlights: Avni Gives Mitali a Reality Check!

Solid episode tonight minus the last five minutes which I would rather forget. It was good to see Neil and Avni putting their son first, taking care of him and watching over him. Neil did not even entertain Mitali and her insecurities he put Mowgli first and knew Avni had a right to be there.

Avni and Neil's scenes were really good, lets face it Neil did hurt Avni and when he filed for custody it was not about wanting to be a part of his son's life as much as it was about wanting to teach Avni a lesson for keeping him in the dark. They are even, both hurt the other and now its time to move forward.

I liked the scene where Neil chose to go next to Avni and Mowgli and sleep there, he didn't have to but it says something about where his heart is. They really did look cute together and Mowgli is trying to adjust but obviously its hard on him, something Shweta fails to understand despite being a parent herself! I love Prakash hands down one of the best written characters there is !

Avni giving Mitali a reality check was much needed, seriously this is the character we are supposed to believe does a mahaan act? Really? The woman is so blinded by her selfishness that she fails to accept what is right before her eyes, its all about me! I loved Avni calling her out on the fact to Mitali her son being sick is small but Avni knew her son needed her care and love. Also hats off to Aditi Rathore, there is a part where you see her a wreck as she and Neil give Mowgli a sponge bath and it is those small touches that really show how her character embraced motherhood! It was perfect!

So four episodes left and I hate that we have to endure more of the most horribly written character in the history of Naamkarann! She is no mahaan character she is selfish and the leads were messed with for her! The Neil Khanna we know and love would not have entertained her nonsense he would have called her out and told her to take a hike! We deserve more than a five minute reunion with our leads! SP can release all the videos they want with Aditi and Zain but we know these two deserve much better and its a shame MB was in such a rush to end this show!!

true i feel Mb wants to treat zain and aditi as side character and that is why we see so much ss for sana so they all look even, a rush ending is not acceptable, but that is bitter pill that they throw at us. MB give so much importance to neela ma, and thank Miss Gosh when she was leaving, give her farewell and click pics with her, but for zain and aditi he didnt have time, or kind words to spare. He lost all the respect from me, now I know why his movies flops. Naamkaran give him fame at this age becz of zain and Aditi, and he cant even appreciate them.

Yes one good thing about this episode is that previously avni was very receptive and tolerate his wrath/accusation as she felt very guilty of leaving him the past 10 years. Now they are equal, and she realises that neil wants to move on. Since her priority now is her son mogli, the old avni is back - she doesnt mind to give it back to neil!

When neil knows the truth and asks for forgiveness, avni may refuse to accept him due to several reasons: he has already commited to someone else; he has her hurt the most by snatching her son from her and because of this she may be thinking to just stay single and focus on mogli/sukooon ghar.

I can somehow accept mitali insecurity, asking avni to stay away from neil. But asking a mother to stay away from her son is a big NO! Even after neil-mitali get married, if neil put mogli as his top priority she might be thinking to get rid off mogli too from khanna house! Mitali is living in bubble and selfish when it comes to love. CVs want to portray her as someone who sacrifies her love for neil, avni and mogli, but the truth is that i dont think majority viewers will feel bad for her at the end. This is one of the of poorly written characters in naamkaran!
