Today's episode and the precap is evoking negative thoughts about Mrinal from the viewers. So, the risk is it'll make PV sound (hate to say it) weak, if his thoughts are not shown.

It could be something as simple as he is turning all focus of hated on himself, so that Malwa is not attacked (think someone mentioned this in the forum)

You gave all Prithviz thoughts that we all want to see in the show.
Prithvi fallen in love with Mrinal coz of that specific eyes he was looking for. But as you said there should be more detailing about his thought process in the show. That's why we all feel some disconnection.

This is post about Prithvi but I kinda feel same in the case of Mrinal as well. Coz it was just one meeting with Prithvi that after that she saw that beautiful dream( dream sequence with moonlight).

So may be the editing or restricting the show to limited episodes could be the reasons.
