Raazi has emerged the fourth highest opener where the film is driven by the female star of the film. In another words the main or sometimes only face value is the heroine. The top film is Tanu weds Manu Returns but that film also had some franchise value.
The if we take out Ragini MMS 2 and Jism 2 which are driven by sex and horror factors then it leaves just four films which have crossed the 5 crore nett mark and Raazi (Alia Bhatt) is one of them. The other three being Tanu Weds Manu returns (Kangana Ranuat), Priyanka Chopra (Mary Kom and Heroine (Kareena Kapoor).
The numbers actually show how hard it is for these films and 5 crore nett plus is a good number and over 7 crore nett is very rare. The big benchmark will be 10 crore nett for the heroines and it remains to be seen which heroine gets its first.
