due to certain reasons, i watched all 3 episodes together..so thats what i felt...
kabir character was like this from start.a rigid, typical, misinterpreted religious man who just look at literal context of all religious points and doesnot go its scenario analysis.a muslim man who is a perfect representaion of todays 50% or more muslim man who just know laws which benefits them..( 4 marriages and majazi khuda)...

a muslim man which was characterised like this from 1st epidose .his visons were clear... a common muslim man who is exactly like this on his honeymoon. ( kun k mazhab apne matlb k lye bhi to hai)😆

now many are disgusted at his behavior...tightly holding zara, raising voice, his project opions , objections on working women...but, kabir was shown like this from start...many muslim man are against working wife but they forget, 1st wife of prophet used to do trade business. she was the first women to follow muhammad pbuh.

But...did we interpret kabir character rightly from start ???

i am not saying working women is good or bad, but thats women choice...if this drama this questioning a muslim man views, its equally showing a women having all freedom but, known to her limits.kabir rightly said "nazrayion ka farq kahin rishtay mn na ajayay" and thats a reality check. 5 days just changed zara heart and nothing else happenned. Kabir was like this from start and he is still at same point .

thanks to cws for giving not a perfect but realistic "hero character"...with realistic muslim men flaws. a free soul " heroine" who knows her limits; pardah, namaz, religious concepts, and wants to go out within limits ...not a fantasy ideal bahu...

So to all those questioning, think!!!!!

Agree with u Kabir was orthodox and traditional frm the beginning and Zara modern .As u said it is realistic wen thinking doesn't match problems are bound to exist that is wat cvs are trying to show . Thinking doesn't change overnight it needs a lot of time to change just bcoz Zara loves Kabir he can't be shown agreeing to Zara viewpoint and does things according to her wish .even Zara says her viewpoint in front of investor even though she loves Kabir .Ruksar is just the catalyst here and difference in thinking can't be resolved in one day or two days they are bound to have conflicts it is realistic

I dont think so.

There was a scene in the first few episodes where Kabeer wanted to cook a dinner for his family.

Kabir was portrayed as a man who us as a man who was strong in his religion. Not an angry young man who got worked up so quickly. He was shown as a caring young man.

So I do think the CV's have butchered his character. He himself sais he has witnessed hisnparents loving relationship and wants that. He accused Zara that she was pushing him away because of the nazariya difference and wasn't happy about it. He knows how that feels so why would he put Zara through that.

He understands what she is doing for him the CV's have changed him so that he doesnt care.

He was the same guy that was going to pack his own luggage so that Zara didnt have to.

Kabir isnt hardcore in his ways othereise he wouldnt have changed his eating habits for Zara's opinions.

So. CV's we want progression of the relationship in a positive way. We want them to learn from each other.

Cooking dinner reflects which kind of progressive thinking?

Then kabir saw his parents relation where his mother has some what same thinking as shehbaz.
Not kind of relation as Zara's parents , where both partners give opinion about each others opinion.

And progressive relation do exist around 5 % in Asian countries.and series are meant to convey some aspect of our society which is regressive.

Kabir was never progressive in any terms from start. Just cooking and respecting women doesn't reflect any thing.

Ruks is representation of women who just want a shadow of man ...bass...

There is nothing wrong in it...when a working women has freedom to chose her career , a house wife has right to chose her way of living.
Problem arises when both segments of women start considering other segment wrong.

Ruks simply thinks that going according to kabir believes will help her win...but usually, heart wants a soul opposite to you.

It kind of does. In Asian community a male cooking is looked down upon. When Shebaz came home he actually told Kabir that.

It shows progression because it shows that women aren't reduced to the kitchen and the men SHOULD cook.
Each to their own, but the Kabir we have seen in these days is not the Kabir that was shown to us before hence the big up roar.

Its upon perception.if you believe men cooking is something progressive and it denotes that particular man will have progressive thoughts on other topics as well...then I can only respect your point.
For me kabir was like this from first episode.
Still he is being far better in terms of behavior with Zara.

The guy who was particular about washing his hands on touching a na-mehram now has no qualms about using those hands to manhandle his wife shows that there has been a change. I understand he had these rigid views before but he always maintained some civility and never crossed this line before.

I am not saying manhandling is right in any sense...

But we cannot ignore situation in which he grabbed her..
A man lost project, a person question his wife dress ,attitude and his wife putting forward thoughts which he don't agree with...
If writers want to butcher kabir character, they would have gone for slap..
They just showed an outburst ( which I don't support )

And washing hands and manhandling ...I cannot figure out any connection between situations.
