Im feeling sick. Zara is wooing her husband who manhandles her, doesn't respect her opnions anymore, gets angry with her for every small thing, believes her place is in his house and not outside, can not accept her working etc etc etc.

Agreed. She should have been equally angry. Yes there are fights between husband and wife that needs to be ignored and pacified... but not this. This not one of them...abuse - both mental and physical- can never be one of them.
