FQ is gearing up for yet another interesting TV project, called Baba Jani that stars him in the titular role. The upcoming drama will go on air on Geo TV and the actor has begun shooting for it.

"It's a family drama, Qureshi told Instep. "I play the role of a loyal brother who has three sisters, essayed by Saba Hameed, Jinaan Hussain and Adla Khan. My character is a very positive one; he is a family man.

Baba Jani marks Qureshi's debut as a drama producer under his banner, Connect Studios. Directed by Ali Faizan Anchan and written by Faiza Iftekhar, it features an ensemble cast including Madiha Imam, Faryal Mehmood, Ali Ansari, Amir Qureshi, Tipu Yorguc Sharif, Maria Khan, Areesha Razi, Afshan Qureshi and Sheheryar Zaidi.
