Virushka will not attend Sonam - Anand's Wedding; Here's Why!

The celebrated fashionista of Bollywood Sonam Kapoor's wedding with businessman boyfriend Anand Ahuja has been the talk of the town lately. Each day we are getting updated with new insights regarding the wedding.

The venue for the marriage is set and so are the guest list and other arrangements. However, all the details regarding the wedding are kept under wraps while the Kapoor family members are asked to be tight-lipped about the same.

Now, industry insiders reveal that Anushka Sharma and her husband Virat Kohli will be giving a miss to Sonam's wedding. Virushka who recently tied the knot on December 11, will not be making an appearance together for the wedding reveals a report in Pinkvilla.

The report reads, "Anushka is on tight schedule post her birthday as she will be heading to the United States, in particular, with Shah Rukh for the final schedule of Aanand L. Rai's movie, Zero. Hence, she will be missing out on Sonam's big day. On the other hand, Virat is busy with IPL 2018 as his team Royal Challengers Bangalore have a match on May 7 against Sunrisers Hyderabad".

The report further read that actress Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone will also not be able to attend the wedding due to their prior work commitments.

The Kapoor family had recently made an official announcement of the wedding which read, "From the Kapoor & Ahuja families, The Kapoor & Ahuja families, take great joy and pride, in announcing the marriage of Sonam & Anand. The wedding will take place on the 8th of May in Mumbai. Since it is an intimate affair, we request you to respect the family's need for privacy. About, the schedule of the wedding, Mehendi, Haldi and Sangeet will take place on the 7th of May at Sonam's BKC residence and the wedding will happen the next day on 8th of May at Sonam's aunt's Bandra residence.
