@Attiya Thanks for the info. Interesting you say this"The books of knowledge are the best witness to that; the knowledge which has been transmitted by men and the ahaadeeth which have been memorized by men far outnumber those which have come via women. "

Wonder what was the literacy rate of women those days in that region? How free were they to pursue their spiritual interests?

I don't believe any study can prove a man has a perfect mind and women have flaws.

Women are sold many lies and we're born equals and how we're trained and conditioned determine how and where we end up. Will give you an example, my friends' kids, boy & girl are learning martial arts. Her Mom, asked the trainer to go slow on her grand-daughter,as she was a girl, but he didn't and soon she was catching up with her older brother.

@Awida- If a woman can be threatened, same force can be applied to a man too.It jsut means whoever is in that position can't function free of fear

There are quite a fw women who handle both business and family beautifully and I hope Zara does it as well.

IMO, women are elbowed out of spiritual power centers and excluded from decision making across religions for ages. I've not seen a woman Head priest in India yet.

ahh i want zara to become the kazi! not just coz she is a woman but for the fact that she is sensible, her approach is logical. She has all the knowledge of islam and has a beautiful meaning to the principles as well.!

The rift is started as per the precap! I want to see for how long will Kabeer actually try to stop zara from getting into the work! I loved how zara said that she doesnt want to be the kaziyayin rather wants to be the adviser! Isnt that a beautiful thought in itself? In what Ruksar said regarding the kazi position to kabeer isnt wrong! Kabeer should actually try to earn it and i think thats where he is heading to! The only learning he has is that he can head to earn that with zara and not alone!

ZaBeer romance will not be much visible, as far as i see it! But i like how cv's are heading towards the plot of the show!

thank you for posting it as i was also encouraged by this post only to start a debate otherwise i was busy with my exam but this post forced me
and i was even searching for whatever she said
i dont know why people always use science to proove their fact as i have seen hindus even saying their religion as scientific
and if you really need scienc to proove religion then have guts to believe what science really says because somewhere who justify on the name of science knows that science is the logical and have reasons and real experiment

The above verse was sent in relation to debt/ financial matters. When we read the Quran it is really important to know what the verse is in relation to and consider the time it was revealed.
During those days women used to not handle financial stuff and were not educated. In such scenerios it was required that two women should bear as witness. We need to also take in to consideration that on some occasions the Quran was revealed to the Prophet when he needed answers to a situation he was asked help on. The Quran was revealed in bits and pieces and then combined together so a verse which you may think is related to the situation could not be related to it all.
The Quran itself states that its verses have multiple meanings, some of which are unfathomable to human beings and known only to Allah (SWT).
In regards to rights of women in Islam it's a very misinformed and misconstrued section portrayed by media.

I don't believe in science...I posted it as reference for other religion believers because I cannot prove my religion law with Quran verse to them.

I don't believe in feminism either..I know two women I am talking to ate its followers.
Islam is enough for me to have facts and nothing can be more logical than it...as in public forum, we need to qoute points of commonality and I believe science as common point.
Secondly, I have searched on that point, read books and came to conclusion its right...I as a women believe it women forgetsvmore in comparison to men...I suggest go for authtic books..
And in one day you cannot reach conclusion.
It took me months to reach why Christian believe in easter.

To other people
...I prefer you to quote my name. ..I no issues and won't report...

As a women, I won't count that as flaws...
Initially women were not even allowed to live...how can we judge their freedom...

We are blessed to live in era where we can voice are opinions.
In Islam, women can be alma, hafiza which is same as men...
I don't know about Hinduism...does women take religious studies??

I won't count that flaw...its just difference of nature.and I proudly accept, I am different from men, not wanting any right as men have, as I have my own rights.

No. The Qazi specifically in this drama is the person everybidy reads Namaz behind.
Only men lead prayers as women normally read at home abd Men in the masjid.
