Here Is The Update For 20th February, 2 0 0 8, L R L Episode.
Episode begins with the usual Recaps :-
The Episode starts with the lecture of Vidya still continuing, Vidya says Akrithi is ill tempered and needs to be treated. And the girls do look at each other angrily and Akrithi in a sudden move gets out a pen knife and tries to hurt Vidya. Vidya is able to defend herself and moves away. Akrithi sends the pen knife spinning into a tree, right next to Vidya. Again Vidya says " What If … it struck her … etc, and Akrithi walks forward saying " What ,,, if .. etc".
Peter and Markhand. Peter is desperately trying to find is way out by trying to decipher the map, trying markings, while Markhand is relaxed. Peter also taunts Markhand that his agriculture / village knowledge would not help. Markhand then juggles with the compass, only to break it. This angers Peter and he feels lost.
Markhand in his own way tries his hand and looks closely at the trees and at times sniffing at the trees. At the end of it all he finds the tree with the markings on it to guide them to the base camp.
Peter, with all the findings, does not stop being nasty with Markhand and says that Markhand might get a job with the Police, not as an Officer but as sniffing personnel.
Markhand cool as cucumber just tells him to follow him to the base. Bottom of the screen it is inscribed that the base camp is some distance away.
Akrithi is tired and stops for a break, opens her water bottle, only to find it empty. Vidya offers her water bottle, but with her back to Akrithi. Akrithi does not take it but goes over to a bush with some juicy looking berries. Vidya seeing this, pushes away and informs Akrithi that the berries are poisonous. They move along.
But clearly there appears a sort of Cold War between the two – Vidya And Akrithi.
Rummy is trying to flirt with Purvi and she is tired of it and says that he is no different. She moves along and at some point falls into a pit, probably meant for cattles to have their drink of water and hay. Rummy offers to help but Purvi declines and finds a rope and a heavy stone. With these two things she gets the rope to entangle to a conveniently placed forked tree. And then climbs out.
Purvi is dirty and shoes full of water, she empties the water from the shoes. Rummy again tries to calm her with his sweet talk but Purvi does not fall for it and tells him that he too sees her beauty and brawn, not her brains and her abilities. Then she walks away.
At the Academy and Mess hall, Gunny and Abhimanyu are relaxed and they tell Suriji of the bouquets magic with Major Vaibhavi and how good she looked in the Red Saree. Then they switch over to cricket discussions, with the youthful Indian Team. Gunny is not comfortable with the lack of the experienced players. Suriji then brings out a board with Us, a picture of some thing and Vs. He explains that he is keeping scores of them – mainly Gunny and Abhimanyu scoring some brownie points with the Major. He further explains that Us means it is "Them" / Gunny, Abhimanyu and Suriji. V S stands for the Major. During these conversations, the Major arrives and asks what is going on. And Suriji explains but slips up with the V S symbol by saying that it is for Vaibhavi Sharma. But Abhimanyu steps in to say that Us is for Indian Team and V S as Versus / against without any particular team name.
Then Major asks for food and says though she is not interested in Cricket, but she follows the teams performance through papers and she is aware that the Indian team lost and hence she changes the score on the board, with 1 to V S and none to Us. Both Gunny's and Abhimanyu's face fall flat.
Further away in the jungle, Rummy catches up with Purvi and continues to flirt. He even plucks a fruit / berry for her to eat. According to Rummy, just as Adam had done for Eve. Purvi takes a bite and Rummy is into a dream sequence of Adam and Eve. Even they have a change of costume.
When he comes out of the sequence, Purvi had eaten enough of the fruit to faint. The fruit was poisonous.
At some point voice over takes up the sequence. Gist of it. The drill usually meant to be a team work and how well the persons performs with each other, either they work with each other to prove the teams strength. But in the case of Rummy and Purvi, Purvi becomes Rummy's weaker point and is thus a liability.
At the Base Camp The Captains await the return of the cadets.
Abhimanyu pulls Gunny's legs by saying, is Gunny eagerly awaiting Vidya's Return so that he could reward her and felicitate her. But Gunny says he has not got any interest in Vidya nor the time, Abhimanyu then says Vidya might be. Then Abhimanyu asks who does Gunny want to come first. Gunny says Rummy and Purvi. Abhimanyu is bit surprised and then they move forward.
At some point Markhand, Peter, Vidya, And Akrithi appear ; Vidya stumbles and Akrithi helps her out. Markhand and Peter finish just ahead of the girls.
Episode ends on Rummy carrying an unconscious Purvi.
