05/02 Highlights: Glimpses of the old AvNeil ; Avni Suspects Kamini!

I really enjoyed tonight's episode because I saw glimpses of the old AvNeil that I know and fell in love with. The way Avni admits she falls weak and can see the pain in Neil's eyes, her trusting him blindly knowing he would never stoop so low to try and kidnap their child. This right here is the Avni I know and love especially when she remembered Sayesha trying to warn her about Kamini, she is onto her and she is ready to outsmart Kamini in her own game. Kamini keeps saying you don't know who I am, fact is she doesn't know who Avni is. Avni is sharp, she is smart and she has dealt with plenty of villains.

Neil, tonight we saw a glimpse of the old Neil Khanna the one who was hit hard looking at those divorce papers. The one whose ego broke when he faced Avni with pain in his eyes knowing their marriage was over, the one who reached out to his little boy and reassured him with patience and love that he just wants to spend time with him.

Mowgli is adorable, loved his scenes with Avni and Neil especially how proud he was of himself that he fought the kidnapper. The other kids were good too, as painful as Avni's sacrifice has been she has done right by these kids and this good deed of hers is paying off. These kids love her, they respect her and they understand her. Too bad they can't be cupid for AvNeil especially Sayesha who used to be when she was younger.

I really don't know how the CVs will wrap up this track in a span of 12 episodes but I am hoping for the best. Kamini is being exposed, the ego seems to have gone for a toss and the truth must come out to Neil before a wedding can ever take place between him and Mitali. Here's hoping for a remarriage with Avni and Neil and not some rushed reunion.
