Tragedy hits the love paradise

Is geet suffering memory loss or was in coma or dead is the biggest confusion

Hmm painful
it's 100 time painful than what he felt earlier
Geet is part of his life he can't cope up with her loss

Ye kya abhi toh thik hua tha sab n abhi hi ye hope ki she will be alright n pls dont do any memory loss yaar

just in two days they are separated again but this time it's more hard

PART 48

Raji cried - Ssshhh...A love story as beautiful as hers couldn't be over too soon, Maan. You have so much more to go through together. You both deserve to be happy with each other.

Just then, Raji's phone rang. It was Tim. Their heart pounded in their ribcage.
Maan - God! Please!.. he squeezed is eyes shut..
Raji hung up.. She smiled slowly - Surgery is done. The doctors said she is stable, but still unconscious.
Relief washed through him. He just fell down on his feet and thanked God.

Raji smiled in spite of her tears - See? I told you, your love story isn't over yet

He stayed at Handa's. In the mornings, he couldn't wait for her to wake up. He wanted to shower her with all the love that was bottled in him. Even with all the blue red marks on her face and big bangaed covering good part of her head she looked like the most precious thing in the world to him. His life depended on her.

Dr's had told them she was better. But any other complications they can't say until she opened her eyes. She had broken wrist and broken ribs. Her major injury was to her head. And that worried everyone the most.

Then finally, she opened her eyes. Rano tugged him in relief when they heard her speak

Geet - Come on dad main tho aapka share bacha hoon.

Then she slowly whispered everybody's name as she looked at them one by one. Like she was taking a roll call. Everyone were laughing and crying at the same time. It was such a relief for them to see her get through a terrible accident

Then finally, her eyes landed on him. Maan smiled at her with all the love he had in his heart.
A glitter lit in her eyes for a moment and then it died. She narrowed her eyes and continued staring at him.
Finally, she opened her mouth and asked - Who the hell are you?
Everybody in the room gasped, including him.

Maan - geet .. yeh kaisen mazak hain
She raised her bow and stared at him haughtily. Then she stared at her dad - dad I told you don't want a male assistant! We discussed this. Humari baat ho chuki thi.

The last thing I want is for one of our male employees to get too close to me and hope .. she dismissed the words arrogantly.

Mohinder snapped at once - Geet yeh kya batameez hain

Rano - wo bhi tumare mangeter ke saat.

Geet blinked couple of times in utmost amusement - m-a-n-g-e-.. what ... fiance??? The last time I checked, I was very... very single.

Maan was losing his patience with this girl now.. She could really drive him to extreme - If this is one of your jokes. .I am in no mode for that right now.
Tim thoughtfully asked - You don't remember Maan

Geet - Is that his name? Looking at him curiously.

Geet - I'm pretty sure I would remember having a fiance. she stated as matter of fact But I don't. Sorry, sweetheart. Nice try, though. And she turned away from him.

His heart felt like it just shattered to pieces. How could she act like this towards him? So cold. He just couldn't relate to that cold look on her face.

Tim came back with the doctor. They all restlessly waited outside. Raji had to hold his arm and walked him outside.

Maan - what happened to her.. Dr said everything is fine.

Tim - I think dr needs to check some more.

He had his doubts. But he didn't say anything to anyone. He walked in with the dr and asked if Raji could also join them

Every passing minute was killing Maan. he just want to hold his misty close to him. Tell her how much she meant to him. It is really difficult to hold back when your heart, your being everything just wants to pour so much.

After dr performed all the tests.. It was late at night Tim anf Raji came out after discussing with the dr.

Maan knew there was nothing to worry.. He could see that on Tim's face. But what he didn't expect her to forget him entirely.

Tim - She lost some of her memories. But it could be temporary. It could heal by itself eventually.
Maan - When?
Tim shrugged - We can't tell
Rano - What could be done

Tim shook his head - Nothing much. Some therapies could help. But other than that, we just wait it out.

Maan's heart trembled - How... how much of her memories did she lose?

Tim had a dreading expression and Maan instantly knew it meant hell for him

Maan gritted his teeth - how much?

Tim - A year, Maan
Maan composed himself - No wonder she didn't remember me.

He was able to understand. He tried to be rational. He knew he had to be patient and give themselves a fair chance.
Mohinder came around and patted his back.

He couldn't complain to god anymore - he had wished her to be safe and God kept her safe. Just that she didn't even know him.
Rano - can we see her.
Tim nodded and then looked at Maan - It's not a good idea for Maan to see her yet. She is not ready for you. I think we should to take this slowly.

Maan nodded squeezing his eyes shut, tears. But he completely understood what Tim was saying. They all had to do their parts in getting Geet through this. And right now, his part was... to stay away. Why him.. It took everything in him to hold himself from collapsing ..
Maan - I ... I understand

Rano - It's already late, beta. You haven't had enough sleep. You could rest. I will ask the driver to take you back to home.

Maan - nahi aunty I will wait here. Then he looked at Tim When could I see her?

Tim - Lets see how she improves in couple of days
He banged the wall in front of him. He tried his best not to show his temper.. The last thing they needed was to see him devastated. They deserved to be happy that at least Geet is out of danger now. That she would live through this. He composed himself.

Maan held himself together restlessly outside just to hear something about her.
