when maan accepted that he loves geet and geet convince him to give this relationship a chance ..he is much confident now ..and off course caring and loving ..more than before ..

He dropped her to airport. She hugged him goodbye.

Geet - miss me. Because I will be so miserable without you.

The ride back home was miserable. He missed her so much already. It wasn't like this with Nt. He could go on business trips for weeks and he would still be himself at work. He was too busy with his business then, He didn't have time to miss her. But with Geet, it was different. It seemed that no matter how busy he became, he would still have a heavy lump in his heart.

When Nt broke his heart, he was torn and broken. He thought the only way to take the pain away was to get back together with her, put it all behind them. Had he done that, he wouldn't be here with Geet, he wouldn't be missing her like crazy.
Geet is everything that he have ever dreamed of. She is everything that he was afraid to dream of. Who would have thought that a couple of months ago, he was whining and sulking about Nt and Dev? Now, he was having a dream relationship with a Handa Princess.

Probably he had to feel that pain in past to his beautiful journey with his Geet. And he wouldn't want to have it any other way. He thought he was ready bare hundred more of the heartbreaks with Nt, if it meant he would have Geet to come home to at the end of it all. Any amount of pain was worth to have her in the end.

He reached home and felt more misrable. Oh misty .. I miss you .. he hugged the pillow.

His thoughts were interrupted when his phone rang.
Sasha - Where have you been hiding?

He just realized he had not spoken to his friends since the day he from his parents anniversary.
Maan - Nowhere. How are you doing?

Sasha - I am Good. But do you plan to come to office??

Sam shouted from the back - what is he been upto?

Maan - relax I am fine. I followed up with the clients yesterday. Let's regroup when I get there.

Sasha was totally amazed to hear his tone

Sam - Oh my God.. That's exactly how he used to be when he managed business in India.

He went to the jewelry shop and ordered to add some diamonds around the main stone. He didn't care how much he spent on it. The ring had to be beautiful and precious like she was to him.

He walked into the office with that smile plastered on his face. Talking to his Geet on phone

Maan - did you reach safely.

Geet - Oh my god someone pinch me...

Maan rolled his eyes

Geet chuckled - You don't know how that feels, to get a call from someone you love.

Maan - get used to it Ms Geet Handa. You are now Maan Singh Khurana's fiance

Geet took so much pride - u just reached office

Maan checked himself in the mirror -no I don't

Geet - I can make out from your tone maan. Kya baat hain. Is something wrong

Maan - I didn't want to bother you. I miss you a lot Geet. I know its so silly. But I feel horrible

Geet - your not being silly. I miss you too. And it doesn't bother me.. but I like that you miss me... more than that the fact you told me.. u used to miss me before too.. but u never said it

Maan sighed - ok I need to get to work. He tried to make it like.. Don't forget to keep your promise

Geet - what jaan

Maan - be miserable without me

Geet - I already am. Then she took a deep breath - jaan

Maan - umm
Geet - Always remember that I love you, okay? I'll always be that girl who would do anything to be with you, make you happy. I want you to know that even before I met you, you were the man I needed, the man I had been looking for all my life.

When we hung up, he had to take a couple of minutes to compose himself. There was a heavy lump in his chest and he couldn't help but press the phone hard in his fist. He didn't know love could be this strong. It was amazing because he never felt half of these emotions when he was with Nt and he was all set to marry her. Even if she didn't cheat on him, their marriage would have been a mistake. And what he had with Geet was... a beautiful combination of all things that are right.

He slipped the phone in his pocket and greeted Sam and Sasha who ever looking at him awestruck.

Maan - what?

Sam - r u ?

Sasha was clueless

Maan smiled and nodded

Sam had tears in her eyes - are you happy?

Maan - main bol bhi nahi sakta how happy I am.

As the realization sunk in sasha - Looks like the fake relationship just became real.

Maan - we agreed on the other night. Then she extended her stay yesterday.. And..

They could clearly see he was blushing

Sam - really!!!

They didn't know they have been together this close.. It was all shockers to them but in a good way.

Maan - oh sam .. I am so happy. I love her... I love her like crazy. I just want to go to San Diego and meet her.

Sasha shook her head - I know.. We all knew.. Probably Geet knew long time ago. Only you didn't want to admit it because you were afraid

Maan scratched his forehead - I know. But I'm not afraid anymore. I want her. It doesn't matter if she is Geet Handa.

Sam - You're very lucky, bro. She really cares about. Mama-papa were also were very happy to see her with parents.

Sasha - so she is going to fly in and out of Nyc
Maan spoke dreamily .. pouting cutely - she will be here only Friday-Saturday and Sunday rest of the days she will be there.
