I don't think they'll tell the family. Shehbaz cares a lot about his khandaan ki izzat . and if he tells anything against Rukhsaar he's afraid she may tell about his plan to get her married to Kabeer after he becomes sheher qazi.
As for Zara , Zeenat will ask her to forgive , and I am afraid she'll do. but as you said she has to tell Kabeer at least.

The story is interesting and allowing me to learn new aspects of another religion i have a little knowledge on. As a student of theology these aspects are a added plus
