They consummated their wedding because thats the most natural thing. I think it was shown in a very classy way...instead of showing r rated stuff, they showed the gradual emotional connection that all lead to the moment and it was beautiful.

4th proof: in precap zara tells rukhsar that Kabir is her husband in every possible way and asks her to get lost.
