Remember Avni was a girl who did not believe in love. She thought love was just lot of pain and not worth it. She was not planning to fall in love and did not want love in her life. She had a mission to save her brother and that was it.
Neil made her trust in love and fall in love. The same Neil ripped everything he taught her today and called her an opportunist, a liar and to get out of his life. Also to spite her he is going to marry Mithali in one week's time. Was Neil wrong - yes and no? He doesn't know what made Avni do what she did but he could have made some effort to find why she did. Is he unfaithful - yes - he profused to love her forever and at the first instance of conflict he is marrying someone he doesn't love. Whatever Avni did doesn't justify what he is doing. Unfortunately he is so hurt he is unable to look past his hurt to see why Avni did what she did.
Avni on the other hand took a tough decision to keep her family and Neil safe and intact and she is in a tough spot of having to keep the secret intact for a father she loves dearly. With what Neil and his family dished out to her today, will this girl ever love again. Did she deserve what she got. Yes and No. She should have braved herself and told the truth about Moghuli to his family but her selfish love prevented her. Other than that she doesn't deserve what she is facing. She has been hit in so many different ways for loving Neil and his family. She lost Neelama. Now she lost Neil and his family. Very soon she will be loosing Moghuli. Is love worth the pain? Was she better off without love? Will she still believe in love?
Neil who profused to love her forever and unconditionally has just moved on and proved love is fickle. Today She accepted all the hatred words silently and left the Khanna house. When Neil finds out the truth will Avni go back to this Neil?
