I think,the moment Raman got his memory back he had hired the cop to investigate Sonakshi's matter as he must have even remembered that Sonakshi isn't related to Ishita but Raman's recruitment & bcuz she has been troubling Ishita he must have hired a cop to investigate Sonakshi's murder mystery
