I find this aunties insensitive and they interfere in others matters without invitation . One such heartless lady spoiled my childhood by comparing me with with my sister. My sister is fair and my complexion is dark and she once asked my aunt how come she is the only dusky person in your family when all her cousins and even sister got fair complexion. I was just 8 years old and the hatred in her voice haunted me for a long time.

I think that aunty had a miserable life and saying negative things would make her happy! I am sure even you have dusky skin your still the prettiest! I never liked fair looking girls that much if fair color makes one look beautiful then ppl really need a check up! I think most of the beautiful girls are darker complexion they have the most beautiful feature and am sure your one of them!

I think it doesn't affect too much because they are earning so much. Their families r dependant on them. So I think even if it happens they are in better position but certain mindset people are everywhere. They also must be getting affected but not that much.
