Cricket is enormous in India, to an extent that it is called a Religion'. While bringing in highest revenue than any other sport in the country, cricket has become a motivation to the physically challenged.
Disabled Sporting Society, which was established in 2007, has worked with physically challenged cricketers and taken them to national and international cricket tournaments. With teams in 20 states all over India, the society organises yearly zonal and national tournaments. Among the 25 international tournaments, there is the notable Asia Cup in 2015.

The Physically Challenged Bengal Cricket Association is a part of Disabled Sporting Society in West Bengal. Since it started in 2015, there are almost 35-40 players playing for them. After one national and zonal tournaments each and also the International Maitree Cup in 2017, they are organising a Tri nation tournament Tata Steelium Cup, between India, Bangladesh and Nepal.

Suvro Joarder has been playing for last 3 years for India, and with his outstanding performances, he has been selected as the Captain of the Indian Team. He hit the first ever T20 century (105* of 73) in this format in the last series. He also holds the unique record of being the first Blade cricketer of the world as well as the first Blade runner of West Bengal.

The Tri Nation Series will kick off on 25th April,2018 with the opening match between India & Nepal, followed by Bangladesh Vs Nepal on 26th and India vs Bangladesh on 27th.The final will be on 28th.

Chief Guest is Shri Partha Chatterjee and Guest Of Honour Shri Laxmi Ratan Shukla.

The matches will be played at Eastern Railway Sports Complex Ground, Behala from 12PM onwards. It will be broadcasted live by Artage News and live streaming on artage.com.
