Hey all!
I'm new to this forum. I just recently started watching this drama and I'm absolutely in love with it. I love everything about it from the characters to the actors, from the concept to the way they have presented Islam.

Being a muslim myself i always wondered if an indian drama would ever be made on the concept of Islam, that would actually deal with the facts and not the misconceived notions, traditions and culture intermingled with Islam, and here we have Ishq Suhan Allah now that is based so much on facts.

The best part about this show is that i can relate to both the characters. Like i agree with Zara that tripple talaq in one go is not the correct way of divorcing, I also agree with Kabir when during the dargah scene he says that he doesn't believe in dargah worship and he doesn't eat anything apart from what is in the name of Allah. Dargah is a very traditional thing, having peers and all is something that has been going on since a very long but this is a form of shirk that we muslims don't realise now a days, so its a pleasant change that a drama is actually throwing light on all the minute details of our religion.

Now coming to the topic, its bothering me that a person like Kabir who is such a big follower of Sunnah that he wouldn't eat anything if he cannot sit on the floor and eat, is not going to the mosque and offering prayers. I mean a big part of the prayers focusses on congregational prayers for men and especially a maulvi like Kabir should make it a point to attend prayers at the masjid.. I think these are minute details that the CVs should keep in mind to make it look more authentic and real. Other than that I love this drama and so proud that Islam is being portrayed in such a positive light.

Since this is my first post in this forum i would really love to hear your views on my post and this show of course!

We had a same discussion before about he is praying at home...exactly kabir is a moulvi he should know praying at masjid is a sunnah for any muslim men. He is pray...eating on the floor doing everything that is a sunnah then why not praying at the masjid. If cv wants to show everything in proper manner them they need to keep this in consideration that its every important in islam that men should pray in the masjid.

Nice post i agree with u all ur points
i'm new in this forum too but watching the show frm start & loving it so much & i'm a muslim too & really like the concept of the show & i like the way makers are showing the real islam in the show hope the notice our request & start showing kabir going to masjid fr pray

P.S: i hv to add this about 3 Talaq: i agree that ppl shouldn't go fr 3 talaaq in one go & the best way of talaaq is talaaq e hasan which has a process of 3 months but if the husband say 3 talaaq in one go then talaaq happens so zara is wrong here yes she is right that men shouldn't go for 3 talaaq in one go but whether we accept it or not...giving 3 talaaq in one go actually takes away all the chances of staying them together until the wife marry another man with full acceptances & no pre plan of giving him divorces if they were not happy together & they get divorce only then she can re marry her 1st husband

Unfortunately mostly ppl r giving 3 talaaq in one go

u can watch this to get more info...about it

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5fuPRB_KUdg

Allah swt has given ppl chance to say it once at a time but if ppl can't control themselves & wants to give it in one go then we can't blame it on islam the thing is a husband is allowed to give 3 talaaqs they hv 3 chances & they can give it in 3 different time or give it in one go but most proper is in 3 different times & ppl should go fr 3 different times which is :one talaaq at a time so he can think properly & after 3 talaaq marrying another man is a chance for the wife to hv a happy life with someone who can keep her happier

Welcome to the forum. It is a gr8 feeling to see such meaningful discussions about how cvs deal with Islamic topics in this drama.
There are also many ploobers. like : Zara wearing full hijab one day, and a shiffon dupatta showing her hair next day! in real life muslim women stuck to one look. Muslim women are forbidden from showing their bodies , except face and hands in some mazhabs. while in others they have to cover them too. But modern muslim women in many places don't obey this rule. What I want to know here what is Zara's opinion about this, and why does she wear full hijab sometimes if she's ok with showing her hair!
