I know a lot of jains who don't renounce. And monkhood is just a matter of choice. And those who become jain monks mostly are either fed up of the worldly pleasures or have a very good command over their scriptures and get attached to the philosophy. It's their choice

Agree but it cannot be a personal choice when a 12 yr old does it
