I was on a couple hunt for quite a time when I found Rikara , yes you heard it right , Couple hunt 😆.
Around a year ago , in the month of July , I came across their rain hug on YouTube . And they looked ethereal . Unfortunately I couldn't find more of them at that time because HotStar was blocked in my country
Then I came across them in October (Used VPN this time ) . Scrolling through the episodes of DBO , Season 3 on Hotstar , I opened up the episode , " Omkara, Gauri's Love drama " and yes that was it !
I fell in love with them right there. Their fake romance itself had so much intensity that my mind began to wander over how their real romance would be.
After that day , I watched the whole of DBO , only to get disappointed when it was merged . But I kept hopes and began searching for their scenes after merger.
Soon I covered up everything . And I dono , fortunately or unfortunately , it was the same time we got Gauri's love confession . And then there was no going back . I fell in love head over heels with this couple ... which made me watch Ishqbaaaz's initial episodes to know the back story of Omkara.
On the whole I fell for RiKara both individually and as soulmates.
And that love makes me stay here and talk about them even today...after sooo many months ❤️
*******
There's something about them that can't be forgotten . Frankly , I tried a lot , but no , I couldn't !
And no , it's not about them just looking nice , it's much more.
If I start talking about Omkara , I would say that inspite of all those mistakes he did , I still love him for the person he was initially.
Calm , composed , understanding , loving , wise , a beautiful artist , a lovely poet , a wonderful brother , a friend you could look up to , a son you would always want to have , a protector , a guy who believed in crying his heart out rather than putting up a fake mask following the notion " MEN DON'T CRY ", a person who could sacrifice himself for his family - not just by words , but by actions , a self made guy who believed in making one's own identity , following his own dreams , someone who had the courage to state what is right and what is wrong , a person who did not force himself upon others, who cared about others more than himself...e..tc
Unless he was butchered mercilessly :(
There was something so different about him , something that I hadn't seen on television all these years. How could I not love him ?❤️
And then there was Gauri ,
Fierce , warrior , Dabangg , not affected by money or high standard people , confident , BELIEVED in God and herself , loving , caring , a good friend , someone ready to sacrifice herself for the good of her beloved one's , who actually believed in giving a chance to relations rather than brushing them off , a person who endured pain to let others shine , a perfect daughter , a wonderful wife , a loving sister , a perfect daughter-in-law , someone who could go as far as she could to protect her husband , a person pure at heart , yet did not hesitate in behaving like a normal person by including lies in her life for the betterment of people around , who cared about others more than herself...and much more.
I found her perfect , regardless her flaws . She is my favourite chirayya ❤️
And together , they made Rikara ❤️
Who were automatically attracted to each other but never realised it themselves . It could always be seen in their eyes , their eyes , which communicate much more than words could ever suffice.
Their angst , the tension between them , everything was justified and was presented with quality . Their inhibitions were their own enemies , they didn't need any extra villain to add spice to their life after every 2 weeks , they were enough to get me hooked to the screen with their very little presence.⭐️ THE STORY OF A FLAWED MAN AND A NOT SO PERFECT WOMAN .❤️
There's just so much to say , time and words may fall short for expressing what a special place they hold .
I don't think I'd get to see such beautifully carved characters again...where both were special in their own place.
I have the wish of seeing my old Omkara back... beside his Gauri. Nobody could ever reach them then , they still don't.
So much left to explore , so much left to discuss...
"There's no such thing as complete when it comes to stories. Stories are infinite. They are as infinite as worlds.
And this perfectly defines them. They have so much potential that you could always explore something new yet won't be bored.
Their story is still incomplete , but as they say " Ishq saccha wahi , jisko milti nahi , manzilein "...
Such stories can't be replaced 💔
What I've written is quite less... hope other Rikarians would lend their words too ❤️
This leaves me with such a heavy heart ...
Rikara forever ❤️
