I have reported that story, but since I'm not the writer of the original, it redirected my report. Seems only that person could remove it. Don't know how efficient wattpad is in this regard.

Thank you pooja and and the others who pointed out the similarities. I guess people do t realize that by mirroring the characters and circumstances from another story, they are still plagiarizing. Anyways, I don't want to say anything more on this. Thank you all for your support.

After thinking over it and taking into concern the scenes and the characters, I'm sure the writer copied the basic plot and some major incidents of Chrysalis. There's not one scene, but few which are almost the same as your story, some of them which you have already pointed out. Some people are misinformed about Plagiarism where they think that it only implies lifting of the entire story. Copying some incidents and even the basic concept comes as much under that.

Hey , have told her this thing by comment on her story...

People really dont knw the meaning of plagiarism...

As per her , she has read ur story n has taken the similar past from ur story but then modified the current scenario of the story..

Sad because of ppl like this many good writers have stopped posting there story ...

I have just finished reading this story.

It is indeed out of the box story.

Just enough chapters to pan out the plot.

Much to my liking, Anjali's crush on Shyam was not explored in detail.

Lavanya turned out to be OK.

Arnav's habit of jumping the gun was kept intact.

Overall a good read.

Means a lot to me that you all liked it. Do leave me your thoughts. I promise even if I don't reply to every comment, I do read it.

Lastly, I do have a story in mind that is show based. Not sure if people want to read it since I am sure a lot of show based stories have been written. There is also the whole 'finding time to write' thing. Sigh! Anyways, do let me know if you guys are interested in reading and I will try to update regularly.
