Hello people, I am Anuja, new on this forum and looking forward to have discussions with u all.🤗 To introduce myself, this is the first show I m watching on Colours. I m not a tv addict, have only followed a few star plus shows like yhm, post-leap naamkaran and ishqbaaz for the unique storyline n characters they used to have initially...and of course because they were easily accessible to wach through hotstar, I m not a trp viewer. I haven't even watched Jenny or HC's previous works. Now I have started watching this show on voot since the plot looks intriguing.
And this being my first post on this forum, actually I shouldn't have started with this controversial topic😆 But let me put my thoughts.
I completely agree with u all that we have signed up for AdiYa's story, Yash scenes are at times irritating, Sehban can't act, Sehban gets more screenspace due to nepotism (Idk about this), Pooja should also get equal importance which doesn't happen n all. And I know ya'll are pissed with the reason given by the makers that he is required to push the story of AdiYa forward, but that's not happening either. But honestly, keep ur dislike for Yash and Sehban aside and think, is it is possible for a girl like Zoya who innocently and madly was in love with Yash to forget him within 2 weeks of his death? No it isn't. She isn't seeing Yash in Adi, she is seeing Yash himself. She is hallucinating him no matter if Adi is present or not. During the terrace scene, when she first saw Yash in the rain, Adi was nowhere around and she was in the same thoughts when Adi arrived. Yash was only her imagination who wasn't even moving from the same place in spite of her pleas but when Adi actually came to help her, she believed that her imagination in her sub-conscious was coming true. She thanked Yash himself for saving her, she didn't thank Adi. And most importantly, she was not in her senses...she doesn't even remember now that it was Adi. In the sangeet ceremony, yes she was impressed by Adi's gesture, but she got happy to see Bella and Ro happy, everybody around her dancing happily, the thought of successfully completing her second event made her happy and this happiness made her groove to the tune and obviously when she was happy and dancing, she imagined herself with her love, isn't that very natural? When the final 1 minute AdiYa dance and eye-lock happened, she saw Adi only n didn't see Yash in him. Come on, we too remember our very much alive loved ones when we see anything related to them even when we can actually see them whenever we want, may it be even something as petty as eggs n strawberries, we remember them when we have some special memory associated to it ...imagine what it must be for a girl who is widowed only after 5 years of her marriage. Isn't her love for him her only solace? Its this love only with which she is living her life. Give her some time, please.
I wouldn't comment on those who have signed up for HC-Jenny, but those who have signed up for AdiYa, let's remember we want AdiYa's story right now, not their love-story this soon. Yes, things are dramatic in the daily soaps, but it is very impractical of us to expect her to forget Yash this soon. This is not a web-series that things will unfold in a week. This is a daily soap which at least see a run of an year when they start and they can not rush with the story. The story looks appealing only if it is told gradually. Take any love-story, it has some past baggage of leads, and no matter what it is, initially its a hard nut to crack, later they slowly begin to open up, then they have formal relations, they gradually befriend, then they compare their current life with past life and feel the difference, they find a better version of themselves, they start admiring eachother for bringing out this better version of themselves, then they start liking eachother for the kind of person they are n then they fall in love. Isn't it the way it happens? Just because here we have a marriage and a husband in the name of past baggage, that can't be ignored by the makers just because we want to see the leads together. Idk how many of ya'll here have watched yhm, but their too a broken marriage was a past baggage, there too leads were even married but the focus of the male lead used to remember certain things about his ex-wife every now n then till he built a admiration for his new wife. This is an integral part of the story.
In Bepanah too, now they both are completely blinded by their first marriages, be it for love or hatred, they still have loyalty for their respective spouses and this is a part of their individual story and not their story together, so this is not expected to help to take their story forward. Gradually their hatred will reduce as they themselves are good human beings and they will see this goodness in eachother too. Then there will come a time when they'll start to compare the other person with their spouses n realise the difference. This doesn't mean that they'll fall for eachother because they are not like their ex'es. This will only be a stage which will bring them out of their past baggage which will help to take the story forward and after that they'll start to like eachother for the persons they are. If Zoya immediately starts liking Adi for the person he is just after her husband's demise, it will prove her love for Yash weak, which is not a case...no matter what kind of a person Yash was, her love for him was strong and pure which can not be challenged in a matter of few days. So, let us give the cvs this much time to tell their story. These complains will make sense only if they show her imagining Yash even after falling in love with Adi, this is too early to show this much of hatred for the involvement of a "Character" in a story (I don't mean the actor). Adi n Zoya are leads of a show and only we know this, so we expect them to be together always without any haddi in between, but that can't happen because they are not leads of any show but its their real life in the story. Just remember, once they develop liking for each other, we will miss these scenes of hatred among them which is there only because of Yash and Pooja. So let's enjoy what we have as of now and wait for a beautiful future!😊
I hope this helps u to put up with the ZoSh scenes better. I m neither favouring Sehban nor the cvs, I just tried to explain the need of Yash in the story. N having said this, I expect all this to happen with Adi-Pooja too.
Just my opinion, feel free to share urs.😊
