Grace, I would not attach much importance to the security or bodyguard around Erica. Any event manager/ organisers will certainly provide security to the celebrities whenever a major event or programme is organised by them. It is a part and parcel of their job.Even Shaheer has security surrounding him when he performs in any event or programme.

Blair, I agree with you. This unfollow act after the initial uproar has tapered down, has certainly helped in reducing the excessive shipping by those extreme fans who were connecting each & every action of both Erica & Shaheer to Sharica & were not willing to see them especially Erica as two different individuals. This had actually stifled Erica so much that it was natural for her to feel that her identity as well as all her accomplishments till now had no value in the eyes of these obsessive fans. If these fans would have their way, Sharica would only be working with each other. This was actually taking a toll on their professional life. This unfollow act has certainly made life easier to them on the work front as now the fans are receptive to seeing them in new shows with other actors/ actresses too. Another advantage of this unfollow act is that the bashing by their detractors in their comment section is almost negligible now. For these very reasons, I am glad that these two are keeping their relationship status( whether best friends or something more😉) away from sns.
