Even I felt this was Zara's way of saying 'no'. Directly saying 'no' will cause problems for her father. This way the rejection will come from Kabir and she already knows that Kabir has strong opposite views on the matter. But Shahbaz will convince Kabir to agree for the sake of qazi position.

It will be interesting to see Peer saab's role in this. If he accepts Zara's condition and convinve Kabir or its Shabaz.

Yes, it could be Peer Saab who might convince Kabir to accept. He is the one most interested in the wedding happening.
