I know everyone is talking a lot about disliking Saisha, about not liking the 10 year leap etc. I too like a few people on the forum kept thinking - let's give it a chance and see where the writers take us. But yesterday's episode was the final straw for me. Seeing Avni not have a single conversation - even a 2 min one in the kitchen or in the corridor with shweta, Bebe or Prakash (for while she made this big sacrifice) made me finally want to join the join the disgruntled! A good writer can actually say two or three stories at the same time. You can actually do the teen pregnancy thing while also dealing with the other aspects of the story line.
I don't like any of the other Indian TV series but this is what they do - they have a main story at every point and multiple side stories that they give attention and screen time to. And this is why Naamkarann is not as successful as them.
Yes we would like Avneil to always be the main story but even if they are not for a short while good writers would still be able to follow through on stuff that needs doing - for example showing scenes that maintain that Avni loves the Khannas, following through on the DD-Sunehri angle, what about Ali-Neil friendship (did that die with Avni?), why are Mitali and Neil not talking? Why is Avni not having a single conversation with the other kids to explain what is going on?
I am only watching the episodes because of past loyalty and it makes me really sad.
