Only SONY channel can air a promising show with new leads at 11 PM slot. Every other channel will move shows with loyal audience to late hours and bring in new shows to prime or tested hours so that they get more visibility in their first run. But.. SONY to kaon Kya ket skate hai..
I cannot keep awake until 11 PM and I watch the rerun or on Sonyliv app. I am sure many are doing the same

This practically spoil chases for new leads doing a good show

LOL and what difference would a 9 pm slot make either? When was the last time fresh faced leads and subtle storytelling worked at 9 pm for ANY channel on desi TV? I can't recall...lol it's the sad truth. They can only air melodramatic stuff there to get whatever meager ratings Sony usually gets.

Sony would have put greater pressure on this show for ratings if it was airing at prime time and likely axed it in 3 months...with the 11 pm timeslot, it just might manage to survive for a bit based on the online buzz...who knows.

Also, doesn't YHM on SP air at 11 pm and still manage to be in the top 10? How does that manage to work...I'm curious...lol what is the target audience at 11 pm? Urban or rural?

True 9 pm is a competitive slot...ypntkh's trp is 0.4 at 11 pm while trp of sony dramas airing at primetime is 0.5 or 0.6 thats why i am a bit more optimistic..i hope dilip jha gets to complete his story this time i have a bit more faith in sony on not cancelling its shows..

I agree. The producers have a better chance to stick to the original story with the 11PM slot. Star Plus show Rishton ka Chakravyuh had a pretty good story and rating on the 6PM slot... for the slot... before it was moved to 8PM for more 'exposure'. The show was butchered beyond redemption to get in more ratings.

TV shows are no longer targeted at urban youth, particularly the primetime ones.

Like someone mentioned, Sony would pressurise the show makers for higher ratings at a prime time slot. 11pm, it will matter less. Sony shows in general have low TRP. And it has less competition also, only Zee has a show at 11 now. YHM comes at 7.30 bro, not 11. I think they stopped the 11pm telecast.
So I think it's good enough. I don't want them to go off air Midway like they did with so many other shows and keep their 180 episodes intact .

I agree. Seeing the entire undistorted story is very Much welcome than more trp and mess.
11pm should be cool 😳

Ohh lol YHM airs at 7:30 now? Ok then...I guess I never followed it's timing changes...just remembered it premiered at 11 pm.

An early evening timeslot around 7pm may have been good for YPNT too but maybe there is an urban audience for the 11 pm slot, who knows. A good show does usually manage to find it's target audience, if given some time to grow.

Oh they have 180 episodes in mind thats great! that means they wont stretch the show and make it boring! 6-7 months are enough to tell a good story..hope sony doesn't mess with their plans.

YHM was going great at 11 pm slot and then the greedy channel for more numbers shifted it to 7pm slot and end result was the YHM went to dogs 😆

I feel ypntkh slot is perfect . The late night slot target is urban metro audience
