Things wrong with some movies updated on pg 4

Now I know I know, movies are for entertainment and not for social help.. And I get that.. But Cocktail had so much of wrong that I could not get past it

Wasn't this topic done to death here ?! I think even very recently same topic was posted. Not saying you shouldn't or anything just saying it's been discussed so many times.

I so agree. That movie loved being progressive but it was the same old regressive shit! Guy has fun with the chill, cool, "s**t"/ character loose Veronica but wants the damsel in distress, sweet-voiced Meera. 🤢 Saif is playing the usual man-child.. Didn't like that movie except DP shone in it & showed she could act.. I preferred Veronica to Meera. Meera was annoying & pretty hypocritical since she didn't show growth & kept judging Gautam.. Then fell for him.

The movie unwittingly depicted reality. Guys in real life do not marry women like Veronica, they want someone like Meera as their wife.

Mithai: Yesss!! It was extremely annoying to watch. In the end Veronica apologised to her. For what?? G wasn't married to Meera.

Cocktail was basically a regressive movie...The guy couldn't accept the girl the way she was and the girl had to change herself for him...and still didn't get his love.
