The Episode starts with Naina reading Sameer's letter, he writes I love you. She reads further and is shocked and starts crying. Swati and Preeti come there and asks her if everything is fine and if Sameer is all right. Naina continues to cry and hugs them. Preeti and Swati get worried and ask her to speak up. Naina says Sameer is returning back. Preety and Swati are relieved and chide her for crying on hearing such a happy news. Naina says that the tears are of happiness. Swati asks when is Sameer returning to which Naina replies that he has not mentioned it in the letter and asked her to guess it, but she being smart has understood that he would come on their anniversary. She says how excited she is thinking that she would see Sameer, talk to him directly and would touch him, Swati and Preeti tease her as to what she would do by touching him. Naina blushes. Swati and Preeti hugs her. Aapka Khat mila song plays...Naina and Preeto dances happily in the balcony. Tai ji sees them. They run back inside.
Dadi meets her friends in her house to decide about the venue of the next kitty. A new lady joins their group who is from old Delhi, she tells them about the mouth watering street food at Chandani Chowk. Dadi taunts her that she understood that the lady was from Old Delhi, but the lady doesnt understand. On of the ladies suggest to have the keep kitty party in Chandini Chowk, but Dadi refuses to keep party there and says it is crowded. She asks them to take mangoes. (By the way, did I say that before bringing the mangoes onto the table, Keshaw had tasted the mangoes personally to ensure that the quality of mangoes is goodš) The lady from the old city is enjoying the mango by her hands, Dadi asks her to use a spoon instead, however Mrs. Juneja says she likes to have mango holding it in hand. Sameer is climbing down the stairs and sees the ladies get together. He thinks to himself that this party is the best time for action.
Naina tells Pandit and Munna, she is thinking what to gift Sameer, and asks them to give him some idea about what to gift him. After much deliberation, Munna says motor cycle. Naina says if we gift him motor cycle then I will come to meet you in jail since to get the money for Motor cycle they would need to steal something. Munna then suggests that they must give him a comb so that he could comb his hairs. Pandit says in that case they should have gifted him phone, Munna chides Pandit that he is really a Ponga Pandit to not understand that Sameer already has a phone in the house there is no use having a new phone, it would however have been a suitable gift had there been a phone which went wherever Sameer goes, Pandit laughs and says how could there be a phone without wire .(A blooper here because the mobile phones were demonstrated as back as 1973 and the commercially automated mobile phones were launched in Japan by 1979, In fact the 2G network was launched in 1991- the current year in show that is, so Pandit not knowing that such phones could exist is way too much, but giving them a benefit of doubt since Pragati Vidya ka Mandir me padhai nhi hoti hai and jo hoti bhi hai usko bhi Pandit nhi padhta. Wait he was 17 in 1990, he might have been born in 1973, so Seventies kids are nineties generation?? To hum kya Two Thousands generation hainššš)
Naina looks into the photo to Sameer and says that he must help her understand what gift she must buy for him. Munna says that she shouldnt only think about herself but for Sameer too, since atleast she has his pic, but he doesn't even have a pic of hers. Naina gets excited and thanks Munna for giving the idea stating that Sameer was right and Mundit were the best friends anyone could have thought about. She leaves an idea and thanks them. A confused Munna says what idea did he give. Munna and Pandit then feel excited to think that Sameer would return and they would meet him.
Sameer comes to the place where the ladies were seated. Ladies ask who is he? Dadi says he is Vishaka's relative, came for few days and will leave. Sameer addresses her Dadi and says he wants to make a phone call. Dadi allows him to take the call. Sameer thanks her and proceeds towards the phone and deliberately slips removing Dadi's wig. All ladies are shocked to see dadi actual hair. Ladies gossip that Dadi applies shikakai on her fake hairs. Sameer says sorry and says hairs are fake, but loving Dadi is real. Dadi gets angry, she recalls having sensed someone outside her room when she had removed her hair, and understands the prank.
Naina gets ready to take pic in the studio. Preeti asks her to go. Bela comes there and asks where is she going? Naina says she had washed all her clothes so worn this. Bela asks Preeti to give her dress to Naina and asks her to wear the dress when Pooja comes. Naina says if Pooja di is also coming, Bela is confused and asks who else is coming, Preety says Jijaji then corrects herself and asks if only Pooja is coming or is she coming with Jijaji. Bela says she isnt sure and leaves. Naina goes to studio.
Sameer checks his wallet and thinks he has less money to buy ticket and gifts for Munna and Pandit. Rohan gives him money and says it is for your school fees. Sameer takes it and thinks to buy ticket and gifts for Naina, Munna and Pandit. He thinks he will go, not to return.
