Recently my family visited the Harappa sites and surrounding areas.
Apparently the film makers had come there and did lot of research. Also the archaeologists said that, the dresses , the film set , the head gear , the statues everything was accurate as per the findings.

But they also said , story wise they ruined the movie.

But atleast I am happy to see that the movie captured the accuracy of our great civilization. Amongst the oldest in the world.

It is amazing how advanced they were. Their sewage and drainage system is highly modern.
They had multi storied houses. They have found copper mining etc. Also they had made a canal for small ships and they traded with the Mesopotamian people.

It is still a complete mystery how the entire civilizatization got wiped out in matter of days. It is like they fled the place in a hurry , or died a sudden death.

IVC did not get wiped out in a matter of days. It was a prolonged process. There are multiple reasons as to why they abandoned their cities, the most accepted one being ecological imbalance.
The IVC inhabitants are the Dravidians, they migrated southwards and over time due to the rural lifestyle adopted by them they lost their technological know how.

You mean Kailash temple in Ellora? But this is not some truly ancient marvel. It was around the advent of medieval age and it is a rock cut temple after all. Carving a temple out of a gigantic rock was not very difficult in that time period. It was an era of rock cut temples. They had all the necessary tools.

The real archaeological marvel for me personally is the Sphinx and Great Pyramids of Giza.

I think its sheer artistic disinterest that beautiful temples are not being constructed anymore, the rare exception being Akshardham mandir.

I studied that flying objects been discovered centuries ago, then those civilizations disappeared for different reasons and the suave technology got ended with them.
HISTORY IS QUITE SHOCKING.
We are NOT as modern as we think.

do tell more.i know nothing of these.plz tell more if u have time.
the only flying object i read abt was Vimana made by Vishwakarma n gifted
to Kuvera.which later Ravana plundered from his half bro.i read that the scriptures
shows the exact designs.there are caves with paintings which shows the blueprint
as well.
