Just started watching last week and I'm confused why pruthvi wants to marry preeta

He already has a girlfriend

Can someone explain this to me

lookslike everyone wants to marry here. Rishab, Karan, and before Deepak and also the guy at pub was ogling at her in that shop.. So Prithvi too wants to marry her.

It's because Sherlin and Prithvi knows that Rishabh likes Preeta and they don't want him to get married to Preeta.

Prithvi wants to take revenge/control on preeta by marrying her as she is the first person who got to know his girlfriend sherlin came to luthra house with some evil deeds...While karan nd preeta together try to expose sherlin with her boyfriend (preeta nor family doesn't know prithvi is sherlin boyfriend except karan), prithvi enters as a good groom in preeta life, gained her trust nd shift preeran focus to spy on them...So now karan doesn't get preeta help to expose prithvi
