I HAVE BEEN A SILENT READER OF THE FORUM..
In case you are new to rules of the forum...it seems and finds mention that posti ng response entirely in capital letters is not an acceptable norm. You may take note of it.
AND WHAT I REALLY THINK HOWEVER STUPID IT MIGHT SOUND IS THAT, SINCE THEY TRY DIFFERENT LOOKS , SOMETIMES REVEALING COSTUMES, AND GIVING ALL THE MAIN LEADS SIMILAR CUTS AND STYLE, SAUMYA WOULD BE FITTING THT WHOLE BIT BEING PLUMP..
If you have watched old episodes, you shall find Saumya as a character wearing off shoulder tops, above the knee dresses and many other so called revealing costumes. And she did carry it with ease and looked pretty too in spite of being PLUMP as you say. So I got to disagree that she did not fit into the kinds on which they could try different looks.
AND IF THEY WOULD HAVE SHOWN HER LOSING WEIGHT AND THEN THE WHOLE TRACK OF A FIT GUY AND A FAT GIRL WOULD HAVE GONE..It was the makers who pretended to have envisioned developing a story line of lovestory between a fitness freak and a "Plump" girl who is comfortable in her skin of being the plump one and was not intimidated by Rudra's "lowe" over hot and skinny/thin/fit girls. And it was supposed to have been Rudra's journey towards realization that its not always about looks but about loving a beautiful heart (Saumya)who has it in her to be the problem solver or love angel to her callers ( at her podcasting programme)
SO THEY THOUGHT OF GETTING A SLIM GIRL..So now it is fitness freak Rudra who believes he loves a slim and ??fit exacp? So he has no journey, he believed in looks and he is marrying someone who he thinks is a grand looking beauty.
In my personal opinion, Saumya still looks way beautiful than the other woman in Ru's life.
HOWEVER NONSENSE THIS MIGHT SOUND I REALLY FEEL THIS IS THE REASON, AS ISHQBAAZ ONLY CONCENTRATES ON THE LOOKS... If this is the case, I really pity the makers for their clear lack of vision and belief in superfluous logic
