Thoughts on Current Track and Upcoming Leap

Its been a long time since I made a topic here and its because I have not been enjoying this current track. When Suraj lost his memory I was eagerly awaiting for his memory to return, I thought we would get that Suraj back that we saw when his character was first introduced or even when he went up against his father for Chakor. I wanted to see that fire to his character and have him really give Imli a run for her money and fight for what is rightfully his instead it was more of him doing Imli's bidding. The only time things got interesting was when Suraj would outsmart Ranvijay and instigate Imli against him other than that sorely disappointed. Now the leap is coming up, I feel it is too soon. Of course I would love to see Suraj and Chakor having their happy ever after with a child but why the rush? Why couldn't they show Suraj confronting Imli for what she did to him, to his mother? Why couldn't this feud continue for a bit and then introduce a leap? It is not like the TRPs are suffering due to the current track. I may be missing something but from what I have seen Imli's downfall is not happening in the coming days is it? I mean she kills her husband but does she pay for this? Is there a new villain coming into the show? It just seems like something is amiss here, that things could have been handled differently and we could have seen Suraj and Chakor as equals fighting back against Imli and Ranvijay.

Bingo! Same thoughts... The fiery suraj will hardly be there...I think only when deviji will hold Chakor will he interfere... But I wanted more plus I wanted her to be severely severely punished

Yes, they should've shown more of the open fight between Sukor and Imli-RV. If they condensed the period where Suraj was pretending to be loyal to three weeks and then shown an open fight for three or 4 weeks it would've been more interesting. I also wanted to see more of Sukor plotting against Imli, it could've been anything, creating rift with RV, sabotaging her business deals, embarrassing her in front of the media and the public, there are so many options.

I think that is one of the biggest complaints I have had about this track the lack of Suraj. When Suraj had his memory loss it was tough to watch but its even worse now for me because this Suraj I do not recognize. Where is that fire to his character? Where is the one who would have been in Imli's face ready to let her have it?? I really did not see the point for him to still keep this act going, there was nothing appealing about it. I just felt like it was unnecessary dragging which did nothing to further the story. One of the things that I enjoyed during KN run was the fact it was an equal playing field but here it was just more of the same. Suraj should have been shown fighting back.

Yes the leap is happening too soon and not making much sense to me. The story sounds promising but it is too soon and not enough has been done to combat Imli's evil deeds.

I'm not happy with the leap at all. They just had a 5 year leap. Another one so soon seems unnecessary. Plus I didn't really want sukor to have a baby so soon. If they had to make Chakor pregnant after the 5 year leap, they shouldn't have made her pregnant before. I wanted to see sukor living together under one roof as a couple, preferably in the haveli back in their room. A baby has entered the picture too early.

Agreed the leap happened too soon after the last leap and why have Sukor be parents now? It is something we want to see but there was so much more that could have been done to combat Imli and Ranvijay's reign of terror. I am really disappointed we did not see that fighter in Suraj, instead they had him do Imli's bidding despite getting his memory back. What we saw with Suraj is not what we expected, we wanted to see him as the Suraj we were first introduced to. I feel the CVs did not make much use of him in this track at least not the way he could have been explored.

The writers never make use of any character properly except imli of course. They wasted RV as well... just like they wasted inspector Ajay. And they never finish a track properly. It's all rushed... lots of loopholes... and we know very well they don't understand the concept of closure either.

And with a baby in the picture I just hope they don't reduce sukor's romance...sukor busy being parents & the focus shifting to the baby instead of on their relationship is not something I'll enjoy watching.

I have to agree with this, I was shocked that RV was killed off so soon. We could have seen a real proper feud between RV and Suraj, Imli and Chakor but the writers did not do so. The entire leap was a mess and now another has been introduced with Imli in three different avatars? I would have understood this step had the TRPs been in trouble but it was not so why take such a step? Everything is rushed and once again much does not make sense.

Well, two things about leap do bug me..One obviously Imli, Two 2yrs leap and now with a baby..😕

About One, No matter how much I rant or try to explain things..She is going to stay forever..My only concern is SuKor have always served a scapegoat for that particular character..Chakor's OTT concern for i*li is just unnecesary, Suraj's OTT surrendering to i*li is not at all needed for the script..Still they had to do it just to give i*li some prominence, extra ss, a track pivoting her..Apparently they FAIL!! Now if they are again giving a chance to her..I really can't waste my energy again..

Second One, Udaan attracted me because of its non typical daily soap content..Its not a Saas-Bahu, not Arrogant prince- super kind princess love story, not a Shaadi Saga, not a serious drama..It has blend of all those elements which entertains the audience with its fresh approach..Then why go the typical way this time and bring in a sudden leap with a baby..Im definitely not signing in to see Chakor ma, Suraj papa, imli Devi..Coz the show crossed 1000miles, which clearly infers 'The show is not just the longest running successful show but also Ageing Old' Hard Truth..😊

Finally, since all the chaos ended, Sukor are starting afresh, keeping in mind Udaan takes the less travelled route, I will still give this a try and sit back and enjoy this complete family of SuKor though I can't stop ranting about few things happening..😃

There are many reasons that I became attracted to this show despite the dark content with the villains reign of terror but there is no denying the fact much of these characters and actors have been misused by the CVs. There was so much I wanted to see with so many characters but many came to an abrupt end and their talent was not put to good use. The same happened again and while this leap can hold promise I just fear it will be more of the same, nothing much has changed here. Imli is going to be back playing her games and what are Suraj and Chakor going to do about it? Suraj was wasted in the last track, I don't want that to happen again.
