They could have took a bit of 2 weeks at least to do it as they took a lot more time to build the villainism!

Track can never be judged based on the promo. I was saying this to the people who bashed Udaan during Holi mahasangam. Now saying it on the forum also.

Why I think this can work? That to work amazingly for Udaan? Udaan was never typical TV show. Take this as example in last track during Suraj memory loss there was absolutely no talk about divorce. Whatever he did, tried to stripp Chakor or tried to kill her, no one mentioned divorce. I don't watch Shakti but I come across spoiler something about fl filling divorce papers. Compare it with Udaan... our dude went crazy seeing Chakor near inspector although he had memory loss.

Point: udaan has never been typical TV show and it won't be either. Whatever they planned with baby it will be something interesting and different from everything that has ever seen. They promised it. I decided to belive it.

Other thing... Talk about baby didn't happened from yesterday. It's been months since baby talks are going. Am talking about time when Chakor was first time pregnant till now. TV audience won't be surprised or shocked with this as much as we are.

Because of an article in which Meera stated that for her it's important they kept young look after 5 years leap we concluded she doesn't want to play mother. And maybe she really meant it that time. But this time baby track will offer Meera to do something new which is different then what she was doing last two years and they will keep her young look. It's opportunity to see Meera in different light. It's opportunity to see Chakor, now not only as a girl and wife but as a mother also. As a women in the most beautiful sense of that word. I think they can explore much more with that role then having Chakor who aparts of loving Suraj only fights for freedom. The story is not anymore to show what one girl can do, but what can one mother do. No one should underestimated the mothers power and makers really can show much with this.

What is role of the baby? Will it be Sukor's strength or their weakness? There are different kind of parents and with good writing and combining with other aspects of life it really can be presented on different way's.

I don't think generation leap is nearing. I'm not having that fear at all. Makers know that it's Sukor who keeps story going, it's not only Chakor's struggle and suffering, the profs are ratings for Sukor reunion episodes. Why would they do generation leap at all? They have absolutely not even one reason to think about it. The fact that show crossed 1000 episodes constantly being in top 10 clearly indicates people love the story the way it is now. Adding baby will give new dimensions but won't change the core of the story. Generation leap on the other side would turn story upside down which would be huge turn off for everyone. And makers wouldn't do Udaan's suicide with that. They can and know how to mess up, but they also know how to correct it or make viewers get over it. They are not fools to commit suicide of productions most successful show (as far as I know).

Coming on what I wanted to say... they are not fools, and they are not conformists. If there is a baby nothing will be like in other shows. That's what I expect from Udaan whom I loved since last four years. If they do that: take unusual routes, do something different, made me once again proud, then no matter what I will be happy with the leap. If they don't then one thing is sure and that is that I won't be completely unhappy with the leap. This is my opportunity to see Sukor and Meejay in different light. Just like in previous track. Many things didn't worked but I got to see Sukor and Meejay in different light that's why I will never say I hated this track no matter what climax and vilians downfall will be or will it disappoint me.

Answer to the poll: can't say, it depends on what they will show, maybe I'm only one or minority but I chose to belive Udaan will keep it's best attribute: to be different.
