Two months passed, ishra treatment started. Raman underwent three surgeries one after another. Ishita was also improving having raman always next to her. She use to spend all her time just laying beside him and talking to him. Her treatment is also going on and slowly doctor was telling her the changes her life went through in these twenty years. She has started understanding many things, mihika use to spend most of her time in hospital after romi went to his office, Ruhi goes to her college and atharva went to his school. Mihika use to tell her everything she missed in these twenty years. She told ishita about Ruhi being their daughter, her and raman's daughter. It took ishita to understand that time has really went far and she lagged behind but slowly she was understanding. Ruhi use to come everyday to see her parent but only after ishita sleep as she don't have the guts to see hatred in her mother's eyes.
One morning, Ruhi came early morning to see Ishra. She sat next to raman and caresses his hand softly.
Ruhi took raman's hand in her hand and said kissing the back of his palm-aapko pata hai papa, aaj aapki Ruhi pure bees saal ki ho gayi hai. Haan papa, aaj mera birthday hai. And i don't have u and mumna beside. Pichle bees saal se main apna birthday Aap logon ke bina manati aayi hoon, but today I want u two beside me papa. Aap please uth jao papa, I can't live without u two any more. Mumma ko toh main yaad bhi nahi but I am ur baby papa, aapki beti hoon main. I need u and mumma, papa. Please jaldi se thik ho jaiye. She was saying when she saw ishita got off her bed and was coming to her. She remembered Ishita's reaction last time when she went close to raman, so she got up to go but ishita walked to her in a jiffy and held ruhi's hand.
Ruhi -woh main, woh main bas jaa rahi thi, she was saying when ishita said -tum meri beti ho naa??
Ruhi looked at ishita with shocked eyes hearing this.
Ishita -miku ne mujhe bataya, tum mere aur raman ki beti ho, tum meri bachchi ho naa. She asked to which Ruhi nodded smiling in between her tears.
Ishita cupped her face and said -tum kitni badi ho gayi ho. She said and wiped her tears with her thumb.
Ruhi nodded and said -pure bees saal ki ho gayi hoon main aaj, mumma. Aapki ruhi bees saal ki ho gayi hai.
Ishita smiled a little and said -mujhe toh yaad bhi nahi when u become so big. Meri beti, meri aur raman ko beti. Hamari beti, hamari rooh.she said kissing ruhi's temple while she closed her eyes feeling her mother's soft touch for the first time.
Ruhi wrapped her arms around ishita and cried saying, mumma.
Ishita too hugged her tight and caressed her hair softly sayibg -meri bachchi, meri Ruhi.
Ruhi cried in her mother's arms fod long and finally she stopped crying feeling light. Ruhi broke the hug and kissed all over Ishita's face and said smiling happily -I am very happy mumma, aapne finally mujhe pehchaan liya. U know mumma aaj mera birthday hai. And i can never get a nice gift then this. Finallt I got my mumma. She was saying smiling in between her tears when ishita said -tumhare gaalon par bhi dimples padte hai, just like ur papa. U r as cute as ur papa.ekdum apne papa ki tarah lagti ho tum.
Ruhi -toh aap mujhe bhi utna hi pyaar karogi naa mumma, jitna papa ko karti ho.
Ishita smiled and said -usse bhi jyada, kyunki jab tak papa thik nahi ho jaate, I have to live u on our behalf. Warna papa uth kar kahenge that I didn't love his princess in his behalf. She said and hugged Ruhi again. Ruhi too hugged her tight.
Ishita again broke the hug and said looking at her -I can't even believe ki joh bachchi kabhi mere ander thi today she is standing infront of me. Itni badi ho gayi meri beti and I can't even see her childhood. I missed everything rooh, I missed everything. Apni beti ka bachpan nahi dekh paayi main.
Ruhi -I am still ur baby mumma. Main aaj bhi aapki bachchi hoon. I still crave for ur arms mumma. Just hug me tight. She said and ishita wrapped her arms around Ruhi again.
They stayed together for sometime and then ishita took Ruhi to Raman and said -uthiye raman, ab toh uth jaiye. Hamari beti aayi hai. See she is grown up. Shaadi ke laayak ho rahi hai hamari beti. Jaldi se uth jaiye warna iske liye ladka kaun dhoondhega. Aur ek baar apne ghar chali jayegi toh hum iske saath kaise time spend karenge raman. Please uth jaiye, aakhen khol dijiye. She was saying when Ruhi observed change in his heartbeat. She ran out and called the doctor.
Doctor checked raman and said -his body is responding to ur talks and to treatment also. I think very soon he will be fine. He said making Ishru happy to no end.
After sometime, romika too came. They were very happy seeing ishita recognising ruhi. They hugged and blessed ruhi on her birthday.
They all decided to celebrate ruhi's birthday in the hospital only to that Raman can also be a part of it. Romi took the permission and arranged everything.
Everything was arranged, cake was kept infront of Raman's eyes and ruhi was standing infront of his eyes while ishita was standing next to her.soon shw blow the candles and cut the cake. Everyone clapped for Ruhi and sang happy birthday song for her. Ruhi fed cake to everyone and at last went to raman. She fed a very small piece to him and said -i love u papa, jaldi se thik ho jaiye aur apni Ruhi ko godh mein le lijiye, isse pehle ki woh aapki godh se badi ho jaaye. Saying so she kissed his forehead and was going when she felt a hold on her hand. She turned to see and got surprised seeing raman holding her hand. She look at Raman and got even more surprised seeing him looking at her opening his eyes.
