"I'm sorry Sid. Main kitna bhi koshish karoon, main tumse kabhi pyaar nahi kar paaungi. I love Armaan, aur main uski jagah kisi ko nahi de sakti. Aur woh bhi mujhse bohot pyaar karta hai. Thank you for everything that you've done for me. Mujhe pata hai ki I don't deserve your love Sid. Phir bhi tumne mujhe itna pyaar diya hai, itna care kiya hai . . . thank you so much for that. I'll never forget all this Sid. But I'm sorry that I cannot love you . . ."
Those words she uttered cut through him like daggers. All these days, he had known that one day or the other, this would happen . . . one day or the other, she would choose Armaan . . . one day or the other, she would leave him. But deep down, he hoped . . . he hoped that she would love him back. But now, his hope was shattered, broken.
He felt empty inside. The void that she created too big. That feeling of lonliness overwhelmed him. She was gone. She left him. It was over. He knew that this would happen. But why wasn't he prepared? Why did he fall in love with her? Why did he wish that she would stay?
After all this, why wasn't he able to move on? Why couldn't he just stop loving her? Why?

"Shilpa . . . you've been a great friend. Tumne jo mere liye kiya hai, woh koi aur nahi kar paata. Nobody can understand me the way you do Shilpa. Thank you so much. Tumne mujhe himmat diya. You told me not to give up. Aaj, tumhari wajah se Riddhima aur main saath hai. Thank you so much Shilpa. I'll never forget what you've done. You're the best Shilpa"
She smiled through her tears as he said this to her. Anyone who saw would think that those were happy tears, and that she was feeling happy for her friend. But only she knew . . . only she knew the pain of her heart breaking within her, his every word hitting her like a bullet.
She knew it. She knew that her love was wasted. She knew from the start that he was never meant to be her. She knew that they were never meant to be together. His heart always belonged to Riddhima and that was never going to change.
But why did she still choose to love him? Why did she break her own heart, while trying to fix his? Why couldn't she un-love him? Just why?

Hello guys! Ssup? I'm writing after such a long time!! I missed you all so much! I'm now back with a new FF on my two most favorite couple ArSh and SidMa!🤗
This story is set after the last episode of DMG where Riddhima chooses Armaan. The only change is that Shilpa has not left yet. And the story moves on from there.
