The career span of Sonakshi and Kriti is completely different. Sonakshi made her debut in 2010 and of course she got a lot of opportunities to prove herself so even if she did manage to give a good performance not a big deal. Kriti is proving her mettle on her own so she didn't have a lot of doors opening for her. Comparing two performances is absurd as the films are completely different.

sorry but Sonakshi proved herself from the first movie itself.
She held her own against a tour de force character like
Chulbul Pandey.
Let us not use the ghisa pita Alia card(that even after terrible debut, Alia got Highway
and improved because of million chances) for Sonakshi.
Because unlike Alia, Sonakshi was never a bad actor, and
She was excellent from her first movie and also gained a following with males because of her gaon ki gori look.
Her problem was wrong choice of movies, not that she did million movies
and finally improved in Lootera. She was mostly doing flowerpot roles before Lootera, which rarely give
chance to showcase the full picture of the promise she showed in Dabbang.
And performance like Lootera is a big deal, it is not just a mere
good performance, mere good performances is what Kriti did in BKB, it was an outstanding performance sadly robbed of awards because
Lootera was a box office failure.

Also yes Kriti is doing an admirable job, and it is
nice to see her have an organic growth but to praise I will not belittle the likes of
Sonakshi or Alia. You guys make it like since Kriti gave an 8/10 performance in
Bkb, she should praised more than Sonakshi in Lootera(10/10 performance) because former is outsider and latter is star kid.

Sonakshi in this thread, not me.

Kriti will look too young with Akshay or Khans or Devgans😕...

Kriti is likeable. I might even root for her in the future but to compare her with an actor of Sonakshi's calibre is absurd. Sonakshi's performance in Lootera was a NA worthy performance. Even if she retires tomorrow, that one performance of hers will be enough for me to rate as her one of the best female actors to grace the silver screen. She was that good.

Housefull where her biggest contribution would
be showing her legs wearing micro-minis.
Jacqueline is made for this types of pretty statue
roles, Kriti should be doing something meaningful to capitaliste on BKB
rather than freaking Housefull against a 50yr old
