You won't believe this! Katrina Kaif who
gave us fabulous dance numbers like 'Kaala
Chashma', 'Chikni Chameli' and 'Sheela
Ki Jawani' was once described as 'zero
dancer' in tinsle town.
Yes, that's what the lady revealed when Rani
Mukerji quizzed her about her biggest
Hichki in life and how she fight it out. Rani's
comeback film is about overcoming obstacle
in life and after quizzing Shah Rukh Khan
about it, she even spoke to Katrina Kaif who
explained her journey from being a 'zero
dancer' to a amazing dancer she has
become now.
Tiger Zinda Hai actress revealed, "I
remember I was shooting for a Telugu film
with Venkatesh. The choreographer, Raju
Sundaram, looked quite irritated with my
dancing skills, but didn't say anything. Later,
while working on Wanted' (2009), I
overheard him telling Salman Khan that as a
dancer I was zero! I was shocked to hear
that.
She even credited filmmaker Sunil Darshan
for recommending her a dance teacher. "I
trained with Kathak guru, Veeru Krishnan,
from 7 am to 1 pm almost everyday. "
Katrina Kaif even described the song which
she feels is the turning point of her career.
She revealed that choreographers Bosco
Caesar gave her the confidence to perform
to the best of her ability in 2008 film, Race.
She further added, " I think this is what a
good teacher does gives a person the
confidence that he/she can do it. That's how
I overcame my challenge of being a zero'
dancer,

Shah Rukh, who is a good friend of the
Chopras had earlier revealed, "My greatest
hichki moment is the death of my parents. I
was 15 when my father died and 26 when
my mother passed away. We were not
financially well off, and I was pursuing my
Masters degree then. The empty house
without my parents used to come to bite us
(my sister and me). The loneliness, pain, and
sadness of the loss of both my parents,
could have been overwhelming enough to
take over my life wholly. I decided to
overcome this moment by letting acting fill

I feel like everyone's taken crazy pills when they call her a good dancer. She has no grace in her movements.

Though i love her first telugu movie malleswari cos of comedy bits but she is all frozen thru out the movie let alone dancing ...now her dancing is all hip moving with zero expressions ..

She's improved like HELL for sure & that's her immense hard work but I wouldn't call her a natural dancer or Ann easy one. I don't think she enjoys dancing. Whereas you see someone like PC or RS & they actually enjoy dancing!! They've such grace & rhythm in their dancing! DP is good but too stiff.
