I don't trust Bollywood's reaction. They literally praise anything and everything if it involves a fellow friend.

Not saying it isn't good but I trust the regular audience.

We Are Family was a beautiful movie and unfortunate that it didn't do well. Personally, I love movies that can really connect with the audience and what better movies than those that can actually impact you in your real life. Cancer is nasty. And when you have to go through that personally yourself, it is the hardest thing ever. You just never realize the difficulties until it affects you personally. And it sucks learning this the hard way. Same goes for any other disease, mental disorder, medical condition, etc. I love movies that raise awareness. It sucks that unfortunately a ton of these movies don't do well. I guess the majority of the audience doesn't want those types of films. I guess to each his/her own.

Regarding inside Bollywood reviews...I agree they are 101% biased reviews. It's not like they are going to talk negatively on a movie or actor/actress. But one thing I agree from all the reviews is that Rani's performance is mind blowing. We saw her amazingness in Black and I have no doubt she'll be just as good if not better with this performance. But I too cannot wait to hear the actual audience reviews.

For those who want the movie to flop...Well its not like Rani has anything more to prove. She's already made her name in the industry. I really hope that the movie does well for her. She deserves it. And I hope she gets the recognition she deserves for her powerful acting. We are Family was a beautiful movie...as I hope this one will be too.

So glad to see everyone who came out to see the private screening. So glad Boney ji and Khushi showed up. Sri ji was so excited to see this movie and Rani was just as excited to show this one to her. :(
