Where did you get this information that pyaar ki ek kahaani did not work? . It was trp topper long back and was quite popular. It did work but I'm sure this Vampire Diaries remake will not work as gul is remaking it. There will be only manhandling in her show. A strong female lead will later turn bechari and a ruthless hero that's how gul's shows work so not interested in this series. My sister wanted to watch khulfi show but as soon she heard it is gul's show she made her mind not to watch. I will now itself predict the story of the show. Pyaar ki ek kahaani is the only ekta show which I liked or rather watched completely and I wonder how ekta managed this show better than others. Anyway pyaar ki ek kahaani worked.
