To me this makes sense...if nobody could contact Naina in village, she will probably take some time to find Sameer as well. I'm sure all of Sameer's contacts were probably listed in Ahmedabaad anyways.
But in any case, I'm sure Sameer will try to contact her and his two friends some time? Or what about the caretaker in nanu's house? Did everybody just shut everything and disappear in one day?
I think it will be tough, but eventually not impossible to find him...
