There was this pull, he felt it and just like any metal which gets pulled in the direction of magnet, he felt this pull towrds his magent that is this mysterious Sukoon House. He, reached Sukoon House, second time this week.
When he was there for the first time, he got kidnapped by small kids. He, now retired ACP Neil Khanna was tricked and kidnapped by kids. He chucked as that memory resurfaced in his mind.
He stepped in the house to find the little troublemaker Mowgli running towards him repeating "Chodo mujhe" continuously. Neil's instinct sensed that the kid was frightened.
His doubts were cleared as he saw two men armed with hockey sticks standing right in front of him.
He while folding the sleeves of his flannel shirt, asked Mowgli to go out of Sukoon House.
The kid moved out of house without uttering a word.
He faced the goons, and asked them why they were troubling the kids. The goons didn't take him seriously at first.Then he let his fists do the rest of the talk. As he was ducking the second goon's punch, and kicking the first and uglier goon in the face, he sensed IT.
First he felt her presence, then smelt her in the air that was around him. He halted right there, in midst of fighting. Then he saw her. Her. After a decade. His love. His wife. His reason of existence.His everything.
She looked as if she had just run 5 miles without taking a break, her hair flying all around her, her face matted with sweat, her Kohl filled eyes, gracing a huge pair of glasses on her cute little nose which made her look a little different than before.
At that moment, that instant he swore he has never seen anyone or anything more beautiful in his entire life. He let out a breath full of relief, with hope, nervousness, vulnerability, and anticipation all combined, ten years too late and his entire being like every single time, started getting pulled towards her.
