Women are both, creators and nurturers. They are the ones who shape the future of our nation and are second to none.
This Women's Day, Vijayendra Kumeria, who essays the lead role of Suraj in Colors' Udaan says his daughter is his lucky charm.
He makes sure, everyday, that he has breakfast with his little daughter Kimaya, who is just one and half years old. She gives her father company, and even goes down with him to his car and waits till he finally leaves for work.
He said, "My life has become beautiful since the time my daughter entered our lives. She is the Lady luck of my life. The only time I am able to spend with her is when we have breakfast and I make sure I don't miss it.
Right after pack up, he rushes back home to catch whatever little time he can get with his daughter, before she falls asleep. He confessed that his daughter's arrival has made his life better.
The show Udaan has always shown how women need to be empowered and given the rights they deserve.
