Was surfing Sridevi videos on YouTube (it has become a daily ritual now to spend at least an hour watching her movie clips, interviews, songs, etc.). I came across this video of Arjun today.

Fans keep asking him for selfies (he always obliges, even at 4 am). Another fan requests a selfie, but before that paparazzi shouts at the fan and asks him to get out of the way, which is when Arjun takes a stand and says I won't let you media guys take my pictures anymore, this is not how you speak to anyone etc.

Never knew this side to him. Always ignored him in BW, and thought he is yet another starkid who isn't any special. But offlate he has really shown so much maturity and respect.. hats off to this guy, and Anshula too. Mona raised two amazing kids.

I startrd truly respecting him when I saw him being there for his father during the entire before and during funeral reception.

My respect for him knew no bounds when I saw a video on instagram which showed Sridevi's body being carried to the procession truck from her apartment and one of the pallbearers was Arjun. In that big Kapoor family, any man could have given a shoulder to her coffin. There wasnt any need for him to be there at the forefront carrying the weight of a woman who may have caused a lot of pain to him and his mother. Yet, he was right there.

He truly seems like a gem.

My opinion of Arjun has always been of a careless guy who does not take care of himself (work out) or does not seem too serious about his career compared to his contemporaries.

But seeing him up close these past few days, the maturity, sensitivity, responsibility he has behaved with my opinion has changed. I've always had a good opinion of Anshula studious, family oriented, mature, kind but not Arjun. This whole few days has been a revelation about him. He seems like such a great guy. Kudos to Mona for raising such fabulous kids.

Tell me about it. It's become routine now. No matter what happens, I always end every night by watching an hour of Sridevi's films/videos!

TBH, I have always liked Arjun onscreen and even offscreen he seemed to be a goofy, laid back but nice guy overall.

I rarely bashed him for his looks or movies...in fact quite liked him in quite a few movies like 2 States, Half Girlfriend, etc, only hated Tevar so far.

Perhaps because I knew abt his childhood, his background, I felt sorry for him.

Even in his movies, he usually does the role of a hapless young guy caught in circumstances beyond his control...and those kind of roles suit him a lot.

So Im not really surprised that he could rise above any bitterness or animosity towards Sridevi and that he devoted all his time and efforts to console his dad and step sisters, he was present throughout the mourning period and funeral as pall bearer and organizer.

Both he and Anshula are noble souls who did not let their past determine their present and future relationship with their surviving family members.

I'm not going to lie...I was one of those people that made fun of him for being useless at acting, dull etc. But honestly he has won me over the past week or so. What a gem of a person. I have new found respect for him. I didn't think he would do what he did. But I guess he understood the feeling of losing a mother...family before animosity.

Boney Kapoor is SUCH a fortunate guy to have so many people who love him beyond anything. Be it his children or his wives or his brothers. Nobody ever gave up on this good-for-nothing guy.

Honestly I really thought he's just another bollywood starkid..Nothing to be impressed about!

But his & his sister's upbringing is perfection❤️

Being a arjun and ranveer fan,i always found this forum mostly bashing this Two..i felt bad as they are my fav..now changing perception abt Arjun making me Happy and proud as a big Arjun Fan.
