Leaving her form as she left him, both stood on their ground for minutes before he decided to break the ice.
"We have to go on!" he said getting back his sense.
"Hmm!" she said. And as she saw him take a step forward and slide, she yelled "Watch out!" but he didn't fall but stayed there and turned to look at her.
"You be careful!" he said forwarding his hand for her to take "Waiting for someone else to come and take your hand?" he questioned seeing her eyes which were with questions.
'Is our Dude talking in double meaning here?'
'For the first time in the history of my being, I don't know in what way he meant!' his mind replied.
"Come alone! It's your choice that you don't want to take my help to get to the jeep! Don't blame me afterwards!" he stated as he got back his hand.
And that made the end of awkwardness to go away.
'I think you got your reply now!'
'Yup! I got it! And I got to know that you also don't know him that well!' His heart mocked.
'Don't start it again!'
'Scared of me and your lies, I see!'
'PUFF'
"Why should I blame afterward when you are behaving like a kid now?"
"Kid? MEEE?"
"Yeah! You!"
"Chakor!" he asked with his raised brows.
"No patience at all! Poor wife of yours!"
"Poor me! Not her!" he said as he extended his hand that she took in hers so they could move from there to the jeep without getting hurt.
'How come they can talk so coolly when few minutes back they were MUAH MUAH'
'Can't you get that it was an accidental kiss and this is their friendship?'
'Are you sure about it?' His heart questioned.
'You are never going to change!'
'Thank you for the compliment!'
'It wasn't!'
'No problem! I will take it as one!'
'Unbelievable!'
Cleaning the seats with a dry chiffon he found under the seat, they both climbed on it.
"By the way, why are you still single?"
'Good Question!'
'Shut up! Can't you see he is starting to stress not knowing what to reply?'
'Oups! Sorry!'
Calming his racing heart, he started his jeep.
"I asked you something!" she said.
'Why is he calm?'
'May be he is not interested to open up!'
'Or maybe he is hiding something!'
'Possible!' her mind
"Not interested!" he replied as his eyes landed on her curious eyes who were already on him.
"Liar!" she smiled "Your eyes is telling some other story!" she said as he diverted his eyes.
'Am I that visible to her?'
'Probably!'
'Calm down! Calm down!' his heart chanted to himself.
Making a smile on his face, facing her "Why should I lie?"
"May be because you are afraid of something!" she said thinking.
He laughed "If you think so! Your wish!"
"So there is something!" getting curious, she settled herself comfortably to face him "I will help you to get her!"
"Really?"
"Yeah! Of course!"
He smirked "Will you help me to get me yourself to me?" he said it speedily.
Catching just few words, not getting the full meaning she said "We are playing tongue twister with words ME Me me!" looking straight "Repeat! In a simple way!"
Pulling out his smirk, his look taking a serious trait, he said "It's you!" and he drove the car as if he said nothing while she was opening and closing her mouth in shock.
'Is our dude serious?'
'Yup! He is serious! Yahooo!'
'What will happen now?'
'What else? Marriage! Honeymoon! Babies! Etc Etc Etc'
'Ohhh' his mind.
'What did he just said?'
'That the girl is you!' her heart replied.
'But'
'No worries! If you like say you like him else just say sorry!'
'Don't rush! We need to think a lot! I mean feel a lot!'
'Yeah! Yeah! I feel like you are doing my job nowadays!'
'May be! As you are not feeling anything!'
'Oh I see!' her heart mocked.
With just one hand on the steering, he closed her mouth with the other one as he started to laugh "You believed it!" in between his laugh riots "I was just kidding!"
Relaxing herself on her seat, she smiled "You are crazy!" putting her hand above her chest "I thought if I don't reply you now, I will get a heart attack!"
"No bad thinking!" he warned "Well! If I want to tell you something, I will tell you! And I promise you that you will be the first person to know!"
"Else I will make sure to kill you! I'm your friend and I have to know it first!"
"Okay! Promise!"
'Was he joking?'
'No comments!' his mind.
"How much time we have before we reach?" she asked after few minutes of silent ride..
"15 or 20 mins!"
"That's good! I'm tiered!" she yawned.
"Me too!" he added as they entered the city border.
