How many wives did Akbar have? I mean the real king who is now of course dead! Does anyone know? Please reply soon lol 😕

4 Confirmed/favourite wives which includes Jodhaa and many others.......some say 200 others say 300+

Personally i find it abit crazy that one man would marry so many women 😆 but it could simply all be a tale since 4 names are only confirmed 😕

I agree with you since I too believe that having 200 or 300+ wives is against islam. I dont know much about islam but from my knowledge one can only have 4 wives in Islam.
Well whoever made up this "fact" wasn't thinking straight 😆

Punjabi chic is right. Most of them were gifts presented to the emperor. They were not married and nor had a place in his life. There may be some of foreign origins. Akbar might not even know their names.

And an emperor's character is not evaluated this way.
