Looks like many are not liking Mitali and the repitative 3rd angle. First Ali, then Juhi, then Vidyuth and now Mitali.
They can show friendship without a third angle which is kind of getting boring.

The reason I love KK is he is an addition that enhances Neil. The humor that KK brings is awesome.

Going through all the comments, I can see both sides yes the Saesha and KK scene was unexpected and could have spoiled the scene but for me it didn't, like others I found it funny and it really did not take away from the Avni and Neil scene. You could see the difference between a crush and what is REAL LOVE. I truly appreciate the CVs for how they have handled Avni and Neil's story, two people who love each other to eternity and find strength living in the memories of the other.

About Mitali, she holds no threat to Avni and Neil's story she is only here as a catalyst that is it. Think about it when Avni and Neil meet its going to be emotional and then that emotion will turn to anger from Neil's side but we know Neil he is not going to be angry for long so then what? What will come of Avni and Neil's story? Where will be the drama? NK has time and time proven to not take the typical cliched route even this leap, the hit and misses were handled much differently than fans ever expected. There is excitement about their meeting, how intense it will be so why let characters like Mitali and Saesha overshadow the characters who are at main focus?? Neil and Avni's story is the main focal point here, its not an overdose of villains or negativity it is the balance everyone craved for. You are seeing Neil and Avni's love story at play, you are seeing how even after all these years these two pine for each other and are unable to move on. It is their meeting you eagerly await for and it is how they move forward from here that should matter. There is so much potential in this story, so much that can unfold and I really hope the team gets to tell their story.

I am sure the upcoming reunion will melt all of our hearts, it will be well worth the wait and the intensity that will follow will make those scenes stand out. I want to see how Neil's anger will melt and how he will bring out that fighting spirit in Avni again.

Ahh Mandy! Thank you so much for this! You know I am in the same boat like you! The track is the perfect balance at this moment. Its something FD always craved for. FD wanted more light/positives episodes and not just "Chaar din ki chaandni" and we are getting that too. Then why not? I personally see no harm in having Mitali in the story. Because whatever Mitali will do, good or bad, is going to end up bringing Neil Avni closer than ever.

I am so excited to see what will happen after Avni Neil will come face to face. Would Neil be angry? What will he do? What will make him forgive Avni? What will make him come back to Avni?

There are so many unanswered questions and I am so excited to see how it unfolds <3

Exactly I don't see Mitali being an issue here regardless of whether she is positive, negative, grey shaded she cannot come between Neil and Avni just like previous characters could not do and no this is not going to be a repeat of Juhi and Vidyut because Mitali is different. Juhi was an ex of Neil's and her track really did closure to that chapter in Neil's life, same goes for Vidyut he brought a lot of chaos into the lives of AvNeil but I loved the fact they never caved to him instead Avni chose to put an end to him once and for all while protecting her loved ones. Vidyut's end brought about that freshness fans craved for, something even the two of us can agree was much needed to hit that reset button for the team and AvNeil's story in general. I am loving the episodes since the leap and how beautifully written AvNeil's story is.

For sure Neil is going to be angry, how can he not? It has to hurt that she broke her promise and let him grieve for her for ten years, it is only realistic for him to go through those emotions. It is like a role reversal from the jail track but like Avni his anger will cool off the question is how? What is going to be what makes him forgive Avni? What will he see that pushes him to awaken that part of Avni she has buried with her identity?? You and I have already speculated hundreds of different possibilities, there are so many ways things can unfold which is why Mitali and Saesha really take a backseat here. All these characters are catalysts that will play a role directly or indirectly bringing Avni and Neil closer, giving them a reason to work out their problems and face them head on. Avni will learn she cannot run, she needs to be that fighter because that is who Neela taught her to be and there is nothing wrong with that.

Mitali being back is not going to a problem for AvNeil. That's for sure. Neil has Avni engraved in his soul. No matter what anyone does or tries, she will never leave him. They're soulmates.
I'm a little disappointed with the current characterization of Mitali. I liked her before. She had feelings for Neil back in the day as well, but she seemed to have made peace with the fact that he was married. I find it hard to believe that she hasn't met anyone over the last 11 years. And that she's been pining for him for that long.

I'm starting to find the new Mitali a little sad. And desperate. She was shown to be pining for a man who she knows is still deeply in love with his 'dead' wife. The whole world can hear how deeply Neil loves his wife, just by listening to his show. Watching the episode today, it seems to me that Mitali knows as well, but she's holding on to the hope that he will change his mind.

And I can definitely see the reasoning- to her, Neil is a widower. He's not seeing anyone. But, she claims to be his best friend, but somehow seems to conveniently forget that he's still in love with Avni? If he hasn't moved on in 10 years, what makes her think that he will in the future?

When I mentioned earlier that I was disappointed with her characterization. I mean from what I had seen of Mitali in the early days of the show, and now is a big difference. Earlier she was a badass cop who was living life on her own terms. Now, she's pining for a guy who she knows is unavailable.

There's still a chance for her character to be redeemed so I won't bash her too much. But, her character had such potential to be a Nayi Soch.

I wanted her to be Neil's backbone and support him and try to help him move forward. I wanted her to be the female version of Ali. But, instead it seems like she's been trying to snake her way into his life, and replace Avni. I mean, she hangs out at Khanna house and she celebrates her birthday there with Shweta? 🤢

I don't like the actress who plays Saesha-she's very fake. But, the character herself is bearable for the moment. She's being a typical teenager with mood swings. But, I hope they don't show her growing up to be another Avni, by following in her footsteps. Really, I'm hoping they will phase her character out and focus on the real stars of this show, AvNeil.

I didn't mind Saesha and KK today. it was just a dream. It didn't bother me.

Like you guys, I'm anxious to see how AvNeil meet. The emotions are going to be running high and I hope like you said, Shonali, I hope it's not " Chaar din ki Chandni," I want the CVs to really delve deep into their emotions and make us bring out the tissues. They've teased us long enough with the hit and misses, and I think it's only natural for their milan to be deeply emotional ( anger/tears/ you name it).

I can't wait for those scenes.

We don't know much of what happened over these ten years when it comes to Mitali nor do I really care to know. Mitali wishing Neil could have those feelings for her as she does for him is not wrong and so far it seems she has not acted on them, I feel what will be the game changer here is when she learns Avni is alive. Mitali is probably going to be furious with the fact Neil could still be in love with a woman who faked her death and made him grieve for ten years she will probably feel why is Avni deserving of that love? This is probably what will bring the drama and have her try to act on those feelings, instigating Neil against Avni or trying to find ways to come between them. At least to me that is the only realistic way her role can work if she were to turn grey shaded because right now no one is aware of Avni being alive and even if they were to know, they would not know why she did what she did. I am hoping DD stands by her though, he had immense respect for her and I don't want to see that change. DD can be that sounding board for Neil and Avni.

About Saesha, I want Neil to witness how she treats Avni and having an outburst where he lets Saesha know just what kind of person Avni is and how she wouldn't have the life she has now if it were not for Avni being a fighter. Its time Saesha be reminded of her life as Mishti and the battles Avni fought against her parents. I want Saesha and the rest of these kids to know the struggles Avni has faced in life, let them know her in depth and respect her for giving them the life she could never have at their ages.

This is the one thing I'm actually not looking forward to. I really don't want another lover-turned-psycho storyline again. I hope the CVs prove me wrong and they turn her character around. There's so much potential.

During the episode when I saw her dancing with DD in the background, I thought for a second, that I could even sacrifice DD-Sunehri if Mitali turns around and uses DD as a rebound. LOL.

DD and Sunehri are going to be Team AvNeil. I kinda think this joint effort will even bring them closer together too. 😉

Lol. I want Neil to put her in her place and show her what Avni has been missing on for ten years because of her.

^^ I am hoping things don't go that far, I mean I can see Mitali going green with envy that Neil could still be in love with Avni despite such a "betrayal" as she would see it but I am hoping she comes around like Ali did. It won't be an extreme case like we saw with Vidyut no it is not going to be like that but I can see her going down the wrong path much like Ali did, eventually she will see these two are meant to be. Neil is never going to abandon Avni if anything seeing her state is going to make him want to fight even harder for her, he's going to want his sherni back and you are right DD and Sunheri are going to be their biggest cheerleaders!

I am seriously waiting for a scene where Neil just loses his cool with Saesha, if he can lose his temper with Juhi why not her daughter?? Saesha clearly has the wrong idea about Avni and has no memory of everything Avni went through to get her where she is now. Its time she be aware of that and Neil is the perfect one to tell her since he too fought hard against her parents. Avni and Neil have been through hell because of Juhi and Vidyut so its time Saesha got a reality check.
