Part 24: ChaVi Back In Vijaygarh
Next morning, ChaVi returned back to Vijaygarh from gurukul. Now even JA, Ragini and all the aiyyars knew that ChaVi were reincarnation of HarShika and what all V and CK's parents saw in RG's magic bowl. JA had told this to Ragini when he met her last evening at her house. But no one apart from ChaVi, Tej and Chapla knew about Marich's plan of sacrificing ChaVi.
Devgiri and Champa were with Param and Siyali in the garden.
Yesterday Tej and Chapla spied on Marich. Pandit Jagannath doubts that some yaksh are behind saving rajkumar and rajkmari from Marich's soldiers and aiyyars, said Devgiri.
"You both have to be careful or you can stop helping us if you want, said Champa.
"We don't care about ourselves but only care about Marich's end, said Siyali.
"Last time, I could not do anything to save Harshvardhan and Chandrika but this time we will not let anything happen to Virendra and Chandrakanta, said Param.
"What if they get to know that you are helping us? asked Devgiri.
"Then we will have to face him, replied Param.
Scene shifts to SD and Badri getting up in their room. Devika comes in.
"You both have got up. I hope you had a nice sleep here, said Devika.
"I am glad you did not killed us in our sleep, said SD.
"What nonsense? asked Devika.
"I was joking, replied SD.
"Leave that and get ready for breakfast, said Devika and left the room.
V and his family were leaving for Naugarh. V goes to meet CK in her room before leaving.
"You take care of yourself, said V.
"You too, said CK.
"I will miss you, said V.
"We can do magic now. We can meet each other easily now, said CK.
"Yes, we can meet each other easily now, said V.
They hugged each other before V joined his family outside.
Scene shifts to everyone sitting for breakfast in Devika's house.
"I hope you have not mixed anything in the food, said SD.
Devika stares at him and feeds a morsel from SD's plate to Anuj.
"I love him the most. If there is anything in food then something will happen to him, said Devika.
Nothing happened to Anuj.
"Now you both can eat, said Devika.
"I am sorry, apologized SD ashamed by what she did.
"Its okay. You are in thieves' house so you have the right to be alert, said Devika calmly.
Can I come with you for this work, didi? asked Anuj.
"No Anuj, you are too little for this, replied Devika.
SD and Badri were shocked that even a small kid will be taught stealing.
In Chunargarh, Marich comes in SD's room.
"Where is Shiv Dutt from 2 days? asked Marich himself, "Even Badri is not there.
"Pandit Jagannath, called Marich.
"Yes Maharaj, said PJ as he came inside.
"Have you seen Shiv Dutt and Badri? asked Marich, "They are not here from 2 days.
"Shiv Dutt told me that he and Badri are going for some work, replied PJ.
"What work they have to do that they left like this? asked Marich.
"Don't know Maharaj, replied PJ.
In Rajgarh, SD and Badri went with Devika's group for stealing. They were riding on a horse.
"Who are these 2? asked one of the guy in the group.
"I hope they are not king's spies, said another guy.
"No, they are new here, said Devyani.
"They are Ankit and Punit who are new in this city. They have joined our gang, said Devika.
"What are you saying? said SD shockingly.
"Looks like they are clueless, said one of the girls in the gang.
"He is just joking, said Devika with a smile shocking both SD and Badri.
"For some days, they both will do nothing but watch us, said Devyani.
"You all go ahead. I have to talk with Ankit alone something, said Devika.
As others went ahead, SD comes behind her and keeps his knife on her neck while holding her.
"Shiv Dutt, what are you doing? asked Devika in shock.
"That's what I should ask you what you are doing, replied SD.
"Shiv Dutt, are you mad? asked Devika only for SD to press his knife on her neck.
"Why you told your gang that I and Badri have joined your gang? asked SD.
"I had to say that otherwise my gang would have killed you both, replied Devika.
"I hope you are saying the truth otherwise, said SD pressing his knife more.
"If you kill me then you will never get to know about your Kalavati, laughed Devika.
SD left his hold on her and moved his knife from her neck.
Devika turned around to him and said, "If you had killed me then my gang would have killed you too. By the way, its not easy to kill me. Looks like you were very close to Kalavati. "Kalavati and I were very good friends in our childhood and now I am missing her, said SD.
"Many things changed since Kalavati's father I mean the previous king died 7 years ago. Her mother remarried another man who was her father's friend after she got pregnant with her 2nd child of her dead husband. That man's wife had died and he had a son and a daughter from his dead wife. Then after some months, don't know what happened that no one saw Kalavati and her mother in public. So people don't know how Kalavati now looks as an adult. Then after 5 years, Kalavati, her mother and her 5 year old brother died by falling off a cliff, said Devika.
SD became sad on hearing all this.
"I think you and Badri should go back to Chunargarh. You got to know what you wanted. I told you how much I knew so you and Badri should leave now, said Devika.
"I can't leave before knowing what led to Kalavati's death. I am sure there is something more to it. I will pay you more if you want but I will not go before solving this mystery, said SD.
"You can't always convince me with money, said Devika.
"Please try to understand. I really need to get to the bottom of it, said SD.
"Fine. Do whatever you want, said Devika and moved ahead and SD followed her.
As she walked ahead, she had tears in her eyes which she wiped quickly.
In Naugarh, V and TS are in strategy planning room. There is a map in front of them.
"We have to plan an attack on Chunargarh and weaken Chunargarh. Then we have to somehow get hold of the ret-samay yantra and kill Marich, said V.
"Its not an easy job but we can do this with careful planning, said TS.
"We have to try to arrest as much our enemy aiyyars as possible, said V.
"We have 4 aiyyars in our team and also 2 yakshs, said TS.
"And they have 6 aiyyars and Pandit Jagannath. Also Marich is the biggest aiyyar of the world who can't be killed without ret-samay yantra. It will be hard to defeat Marich, said V.
"But we have to do that, said TS, "Marich will not stop planning to bring you and rajkumari to him to gain tilism powers. So you both have be very careful.
"I want this to end as soon as possible, said TS.
"As I said it will be hard to defeat Marich but we have to somehow weaken Chunargarh. We need to arrest as much aiyyars from Chunargarh as possible, said TS.
"Shiv Dutt sent a letter to me and Chandrakanta a day before yesterday telling that he has changed. We have not believed him, said V telling him about the letter shocking TS.
"I too am not able believe him but I am not able to ignore what he wrote. We have to see if he really saying truth or making any story. What if Marich's wife's story is really true? We have to send someone to find about it and how much there is truth in it, said TS.
"Who will go to find this? asked V.
"I and Siyali will go, replied Param as he entered with Siyali.
"No, you both can't go as Marich and Pandit Jagannath have doubts that it's the work of some yaksh to fail their plans twice on the night of Maharani Ratnagarbha's birthday, said TS.
"We know this but we can't get scared and step back, said Siyali.
"When are you both leaving then? asked V.
"Right now, replied Param.
"Take care of yourselves, said TS.
"We will, said Siyali.
V goes to his and taps on his engagement ring. CK who was sitting by her window gets a beeping sound on her engagement ring. She taps it and V appears on the diamond stone.
"Chandrakanta, I have called you tell about our next move, said V.
"What you planned now? asked CK.
"Tej Singh said that we have to send something to find whether what Shiv Dutt wrote in the letter is actually true or not. So Param and Siyali said that they will go to Chunargarh to find out. They will go to find whether Marich's wife's story is true or not, said V.
"I think I should ask Maa if she has any idea about Lavanya, said CK.
"If she knew then she would have told, said V.
"I will just ask her whether she heard someone named Lavanya, said CK.
"Yes you ask that. Hope she has heard this name, said V.
"Don't know whether Shiv Dutt really went to Rajgarh or somewhere else, said CK.
"We have to find that also, said V.
"I wish Parama and Siyali are not caught, said CK.
"I too wish that, said V.
"Okay, I will talk later with you, said CK.
"Stay for some more time na, said V.
"I thought you need to take rest after a long journey, said CK.
"I will do that later, said V.
"No now because you look very tired, said CK.

In Rajgarh, Devika with her gang were walking on the road when maharaj Jitendra Singh's procession started passing. People gathered at a place. The king came out from the carriage with his son rajkumar Nishant and daughter rajkumari Parijat.
"Cover your faces and mix with the crowd, said Devyani to SD and Badri.
People started cheering for the king. A soldier beat the drums to attract attention.
"After 10 days, there is a coronation ceremony of rajkumar Nishant so maharaj has tripled the tax for these 10 days to use the money for rajkumar's coronation, said the soldier.
The people are shocked to hear this.
"For 10 days we will steal only from the rich, whispered Devika to her gang and they nodded.
SD and Badri were shocked that they are still thinking of stealing but felt a little happy at the positive thing that they will at least spare the poor people for 10 days. The duo was horrified to see the soldiers whipping some people who questioned the maharaj's order. SD and Badri were about to step forward to intervene but Devika stopped them by holding their hands. The procession left after the maharaj warned the people to do as he ordered.
"Why you stopped us? asked SD.
"I am shocked that Shiv Dutt was feeling bad seeing all this when he too would do the same earlier. I heard a lot about your great deeds, replied Devika with taunt.
"I know I had committed lots of mistake but I have really changed. Yes, I too would try to do these things. Yes try because maharaj Surendra Singh would not let me do anything wrong and I had to listen to him otherwise he would not let me become yuvraj. But now, you stopped me and Badri from intervening. I am not blaming you but just saying what you did, said SD.
"Its good that you really changed but you both can't just intervene in these matters. These matters are common here. This is not your Chunargarh but Rajgarh where you both can't get into any trouble here. That's why I was telling you to leave from here, said Devika.
"No, I can't leave without knowing everything about Kalavati's death, said SD.
"Fine, you and Badri can stay here as long as you want but you will not get involved in such matters. You both are our responsibilities so your safety is important for us, said Devika.
SD was amazed that the girl who thinks of stealing most of the times is thinking of his and Badri's safety. He has to agree with her in order to know about Kalavati.
"Okay, we will not get involved in such matters, said SD.
"Good, said Devika.
Scene shifts to CK in RG's room.
"Maa, do you know anything about Marich's wife? asked CK.
"I only know a month after giving birth to their son, replied RG.
"Was her name Lavanya? asked CK.
"I don't know but I have heard Marich taking this name sometimes, replied RG.
"This means Shiv Dutt can be saying truth about Lavanya, thinks CK.
"Are you sure she has died? asked CK.
"Everyone knows that she died, replied RG and asked, "Why are you askinG these questions?
"Because Shiv Dutt has sent me and Virendra a letter saying that he has changed, replied CK telling her everything written in the letter making RG puzzled.
"I will try to find about Lavanya with my knowledge, said RG.
