I came across this videos from the early 90s where Bollywood stars came together to support Sanjay Dutt in his gun possession case(Don't know much about this. Is it related to his terrorism charges?)

Seriously they all made the time to come and even have posters.😆

Does this even happen anymore? Everyone is Shrewd...Take Sridevi's funeral...so called fans and friends didnt even show up. I mean yes Sanjay was the son of a respected actor and person...but I think now everyone runs away from controversy.

Mind you Sanjay is a straight up thug so I like to see them defending him now.😆

It was another time. Internet changed the game and the way such displays would be perceived.

I think some of those people might have been there because they've seen him grown up while others were his friends.

Also, when a celeb is involved in a judicial affair, the risk is that this person will serve as exemple to get fame for the prosecutor/judge or to show to every Tom, Dick and Harry that justice is fair and incorruptible.

That might be why these people wanted to show their support this way.

Anyways, Dutt served his jail time and thus paid his debt to society. He might have reformed now.

Now we get an idea how he escaped TADA 😛

And no he didn't pay his debt bcz others who were sent to jail for helping him were booked on TADA and served longer sentences

Half of his prison sentence, he was out on parole to take care of his "sick wife"...

I think the Raza Murad guy was purposely adding that Amitabh example 😉...

What is that all about anyway?

Are you asking about the Bofors scandal?

Bofors scandal cost the Congress Party and Rajiv Gandhi the election of 1989

Amitabh was implicated too but later exonerated I think...
